I had been looking for a quality, heavy duty spatula to use with my smoker and this spatula checked all my boxes. It not only looks great but it feels good with a good wood grip. It is a bit pricier than the other options I looked at but none of the others were as strong and durable as the Traeger. I have used it to help move a couple 10-12 pound briskets and several turkey breasts without fear of it bending or breaking. The more rectangular wood handle functions well and provides a good grip that keeps it from rotating in your hand even when they get some grease on it. As someone else said, "Is it expensive? YES". "Is it amazing? YES". This spatula is so strong with a great handle and loads of real estate to grab large cuts like full chickens and big slabs. This spatula by Traeger is huge. The biggest one I've ever seen and super sturdy to boot. This will pick up full chickens, roasts and the like. I can't wait for grilling season to put this thing to use. Got it for a great sale price that I've only seen on Amazon. Highly recommend.
