When I lost the original tracker I panicked because I've so enjoyed having my Tractive on my dog - it gives me a lot of peace of mind, even though I hope I never actually need to use it! But this charger has worked perfectly and I actually like it better than the original. The tracker snaps into place without even having to be removed from my dogs collar. When I recharge it, I just take her collar off and plug it in, no issues. ... show more

To say my cat is “a bit of a wanderer” would be an understatement, so the peace of mind Tractive brings is great for whenever he wanders too far from home. That said, the magnetic charger that comes with the Tractive is TERRIBLE. It very easily detached from the charger. I get why it’s a magnet charger and not a plug charger (the GPS units are waterproof and one that he managed to lose in the fall that we couldn’t get to right away survived outside all winter) but very annoying. This thing, however? Solves the problem. The GPS clicks into place and clicks out of place very easily. No more worries about a slight breeze knocking the GPS off the charger.     • A must have for Tractive collars.
This is a must have. It allows me to keep the adapter on the Tractive device when I travel so I can charge it with the usb c cables I already have since every other device I have is usb c.
