I’m impressed. I have used much more expensive devices, including the Bevel beard trimmer (which is absolute garbage), but this is a much smoother trim, snd it doesn’t snag and cut me like the Bevel does, or struggle to glide through my hair like the Philips OneBlade does. This is a light device, with a decent quality zero-gap blades. It is precise and easy to handle, and I really appreciate the slim profile of the grip and the overall design. I am a full time hairstylist & I do tons of fades everyweek! I wanted to give a different brand a try as I have been using the same brand for trimmers for over ten years, these did NOT disappoint me! Awesome price point too! Came fast & came with all the attachments. Charges fast & holds the charge too! I ended up getting the matching clippers because I love these so much! After purchasing both of the "big company" outliners and being highly disappointed, I found these bad boys. The outliners from the other companies were very pricey, heavy, clunky and LOUD. It just seemed like they didn't do any type of upgrading or modernizing for the past 30 years on them. I even tried the newer GTX model and it was unusable. They were so crazy loud and heavy that it was bothering me as the operator, so I couldn't imagine how unbearable it would be to have that right next to my ears during a cut. These on the other hand.... They are reasonably priced, lightweight, quiet and super comfortable to use. The skeleton shape is perfect and the silicone-type feel they used is absolutely perfect. The battery lasts a long time and these can be zero-gapped very easily. Customizable, affordable, comfortable, lightweight, wireless and most importantly, they work well—I've already started recommending them to everyone I know and will likely purchase a few more as long as all of the above-mentioned points stay the same. ... show more

So I am a female with PCOS. Keep that in mind when reading this review because in some sense it matters. My hair growth isn't QUITE as thick or coarse as a typical middle aged man's but it's close in some places. Particularly along the mlthe crease where my chin is. My hair is red... coppery red. I don't get a 5 o'clock shadow... my hair doesn't grow that fast and I use a growth inhibitor as well. All that info is important to understanding why I gave a 4 star review. What I was looking for is a trimmer that would cut the hair extremely low without actually shaving it in all places. Some places like the creases around my mouth and chin needed a better trim... maybe a shave... but I didn't want to use a razor because it causes massive ingrown hairs. My skin on my face is a bit sensitive to shaving and I have psoriasis that is problematic at the site of the thickest parts of the hair growth on my face as well so that makes it a bit more complicated. So as a trimmer using the 1mm guard it was perfect to setting my thinner finer patches to look like a normal person's facial hair growth. Exactly what I was looking for. No pulling, quick and easy, NICE blade... east to use, very quiet. Nice grip. The design is super compact which is a huge plus. I don't feel like I'm going to war when I break it out. With NO guard I expected it to get rid of all the hair in that section.... it didn't do that, but did get close enough where it looked like it did if you weren't intently staring at that section which is fine with me. I think had it been like an actual shave and removed it completely down to the skin I would have gotten in grown hairs like with a razor and that's what I was trying to avoid. It maybe is a tad bit longer there than I want and that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. For the price this was the best trimmer ove tried yet. I've gone through 4 different shavers and trimmers from wet/dry to simple beard and bikini line trimmers. By far this beat them all. What normally takes me like 3 to 5 minutes to get under control to the point it's acceptable took like... 2? I'm rather impressed. My one real concern is the blade... they don't seem to be readily available on amazon... they are from the website and I might have to purchase several at a time... they don't have free shipping... but it would just be better to be able to get the on brand blades on Amazon for my own piece of mind. Anyways... I can't give a male perspective, I don't know how ya'll trim or what that's supposed to be like... dont know how it would do fine lines or designs because thats not what i was after... but for my purposes this thing was great. These trimmers are really great, they are soft when balding out a fade, or edging yourself or a client up. They are very compact and easy to maneuver. Only downside to this trimmer is the body is pretty slippery, would be nice if it had some texture to keep a better grip, or just had a plastics wrap to help with grip. Nice, well made clippers. Does a decent job at keeping my short beard lined up but, the positioning of the on/off switch on the side (as opposed to the bottom) posed an unexpected issue for me. I’m no barber, I just bought these to keep myself looking decent and to use when I travel. Now traveling is the issue. I pack them in my leather man-case with my other essentials. When I put my man-case in my suitcase the slightest side pressure on the suitcase turns on the clipper. Imagine going through TSA security at an airport with a humming noise coming from your luggage! Not recommended for flying. ... show more
