  • 16 months into ownership and just bought a second larger version.
Size: YTX7L-BS 4AH 315CCA
I bought the YTX7L-BS for a small HF 3500 Inverter generator and it was a perfect fit. The original SLA battery lasted less than a year and required a float charger. This one has been in service for 16 months. In that time I have started and run the generator twice. I have checked it about 10 times. Engaged the starter to turn over the engine and pressed the button on top to read to voltage. Reading 12.8 to 13v each time. Every time it has worked perfectly and I have only charged it twice. I topped it off when new, and three month or so into use. The charger turned off in five minutes so I decided that wouldn't be needed much. I have nothing bad to say. I have just ordered the YTX30L-BS for my riding mower as it's little brother has been so trouble free. ... show more

  • Enough for a 25HP diesel tractor
Size: YTX12-BS 8.5 AH 580CCA
Arizona is where car batteries go to die. Lead acid car batteries here last about 2 years and AGM's marginally longer. When the OEM battery on the tractor died I decided to give this one a shot. It exceeded the CCA of the OEM and is exponentially smaller and lighter than the one it replaced. It cranks the high compression diesel motor without fail and yes I've lit the glow plugs in cold weather for 15 seconds several times and then started the motor. I am hoping this will last more than the lead acid counterpart. I have also purchased two more previously that start generators. They all perform above and beyond. Great product so far. ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money.
Size: YTX12-BS 8.5 AH 580CCA
Don’t waste your money on this battery. I purchased this battery to replace my old lead battery on my motorcycle that has lasted for 4 years. After installing the battery it cranked the bike perfectly for the first couple weeks. I let the bike sit for 6-8 days without riding it. Went out to crank it an nothing, the headlight wouldn’t even come on. Took the battery out to charge it “with a charger designed for lithium batteries” an it won’t even charge up. Went to the parts store an bought an old traditional lead battery an the bike fired right up. Of course the “return window” closed a month after I received the battery so there’s no getting my $115 back for the junk lithium battery. I guess it’s just a hard lesson learned. Bottom line, if you’re going to go with lithium buy a good name brand from a company that stands behind there product. NOT this junk. ... show more

  • You need a LIFEPO capable battery charger to Fully charge!!!
Size: YTX5L-BS 3AH 300CCA
You need a LIFEPO capable battery charger to Fully charge!!! It may charge with some 12V battery chargers or alternators. But most of LIFEPO batteries get to full charge at above 13V. I have such chargers but some may not. So if seems to not work after charging, you likely lack a LIFEPO charger!

  • Small capacity, but lightweight
Size: YTX4L-BS 2AH 220CCA
Excellent choice for a backup motorcycle battery to keep in your saddlebag or road case. Astonishingly light, and able to function as well as the stock FLA battery at a fraction if the physical size. Love the built-in voltmeter.

  • Lightweight Powerhouse
Size: YTX7A-BS 5AH 320 CCA
I've been changing batteries in autos, trucks and motorcycles since I was 10 years old. Honestly, this feels like an empty display for a battery. After having a lithium powered drill for a few years, I replaced eight lead acid batteries in my golf cart with two lithium units. When my 600RR needed a new battery, I decided to try a lithium in it. Weight wise, it couldn't possibly do the job. But man, does it ever spin the motor over. No issues with charging, or cranking, even after sitting for weeks. Dropped right in with the included spacer. Absolute great bang for the buck. ... show more

  • Did away with several electrical gremlins on my bike.
Size: YTX7A-BS 5AH 320 CCA
Battery is quite a bit lighter than the lead-acid unit that was in there before, and it seems to deal better with surge currents and/or situations (such as being at idle), where the lead-acid battery I had in the bike had voltage rails that'd sag just a bit. This battery doesn't seem to have that extra output impedance, and as a consequence, the ignition system (and I have an aftermarket electronic ignition where breaker points used to be) seems not to stumble. The result is that I have the idle set quite low and the bike runs just fine. With the old lead-acid battery, I frequently found myself revving the bike at a stop because I'd get the occasional low-voltage warning. So far a stock alternator on a relatively old (1972) Norton Commando seems to charge it properly. I should note that I can't speak to cranking current, since the bike itself doesn't have a starter motor and has to be kicked. But it tends to roll over on the first or second kick consistently, which the old lead-acid unit never allowed it to do. In future, this will probably be my battery of choice. UPDATE, 12/20/2021: I'm concluding that the regulator in my bike is probably putting out a little more voltage than this battery wants to see. It's still healthy, but to be on the safe side, as I swap in a higher-output alternator, I'm changing the regulator to something I know is going to top out at no more than 14.5V. Older bipolar transistor regulators can hit 15V or more, and although this battery's protection circuits would probably kick in, that's not the ideal solution. ... show more

  • Didn’t last
Size: YTX7L-BS 4AH 315CCA
Bought this battery on June 8th for my predator 3500 generator that I use for an off grid camping site. I’ve used it probably for 3 trips where the generator gets hours of use at a time. I was getting ready for my latest camping trip in mid October and the battery was dead so I decided to charge it. It will charge up to 12 volts but when you remove it from the charger it quickly dies off to 7 volts and stays there. Maybe I got a dud. It was the most expensive one I could find thinking that it would last 3-4 years like the original battery did not only 4 months. ... show more
