So far, spill proof, but have only had it a few weeks. Only complaint is the one design flaw: every 2-3 times I use it, I notice the rubber gasket is starting to come loose. I just press it down gently all the way around, every time I open it, to prevent it from completely coming off. The one time it did, before I was aware, and watching for it, it was a real hassle to get it back on. Keeps hot drinks piping hot for at least 10 hours. I leave the lid a little loose in my car when at work so by the time I leave 8-10 hours later the previously boiling drink is merely very hot, the way I like it.

There are two issues I have with the bottle. But let's get the good out. It's a good, well made bottle. It keeps heat well, I like the flip mechanism, it fits well in the hands, carries a good amount of liquid, and I haven't had any issues with leaking. The area where you drink out of has a well designed lip which protects you from spills around the edges of the lid and helps funnel directly to your mouth. That all being said, I'm not sure I'd get it again. First, and this is very minor that's probably just a me issue. The flip unlock button is right where you drink from and goes over the base of the part where you drink. So I'm basically jamming it into the area under my lip to drink from the bottle. But it's not like it's pointy or scratchy or anything. I just find it a design choice I disagree with The second issue I do actually have a problem with is flow rate. When drinking out of the bottle, the liquid moves very slowly out. I decided to just pour it out into a cup I had and it felt like it took 30 seconds just to pour out a 10 oz cup worth. Update: it was bothering me so I decided to actually time it. This bottle when filled with water took 38 seconds to pour out completely. I did the same thing with a similar sized travel mug I had used this to replace and it took 23 seconds. They are the exact same capacity, but this one pours over 1.5x slower Both of these issues could be alleviated by entirely removing the lid, but that's inconvenient and defeats a lot of the purpose of a travel mug.

The slim size was initially concerning but this compact mug clearly holds a full can of soda and a mug of coffee. I love that it works well for both hot and cold drinks. Easy push button open. You need a flexible cloth or a small brush to clean but this slight inconvenience is more than tolerable considering all the advantages and quality of the mug. I use so frequently that I hand wash. Perfect safety mug to prevent spills when working on my computer.

I lost my Stanley travel coffee mug but didn't want to invest in another one. I chose to follow my coworkers and purchase my next one through Simple. The color is beautiful and it keeps my coffee warm for hours. My only complaint is the plastic lid. I dropped it on the first day and broke off a part of the security clasp that keeps the lid closed. It still works great and doesn't leak but I'm worried that if I drop it again it won't stay closed. : /

This keeps coffee hot, it fits in cup holders, it's perfectly sized for on the go. The lid prevents spills, the lock on the lid prevents accidental opening. I wish it were dishwasher safe!
