This really is "mini" so definitely not for kiddos who still put toys in their mouths. My son is 4 and likes playing with this for a few minutes then lets it run as he plays with other toys. He enjoys the music and just watching the cars move around the track while he lays next to it with other items. I guess it's basically my son's version of the Christmas train except he's allowed to do as he pleases with this toy. Pictures- *mini cars from this toy next to the standard sized matchbox or hot wheels cars *Dino set complete with stickers and signs with mini cars and 2 matchbox cars. Matchbox cars do not fit on the track.

Directions were pretty horrible but the toy was great and a huge hit. Such a different and unique toy and everyone had something to say about how neat it was. The assembly was one of the worst instructions for a toy I’ve ever had to follow-and I e assembled many many toys for my 4 year old toddler-so I know quality with assembly instructions and what isn’t up to par and these offered small images with no written instruction for how to assemble and they make you put stickers on everything but it’s so small it’s hard to tell where. For a small toy it took a ridiculous amount of effort to get it going but my son was occupied and happy

At first, I was disappointed that it uses small cars (in my head I was picturing hot wheels size so we could also use the cars we have at home). I was very worried we would lose the little cars (about an inch in length) and then it would render the track useless. My guy loves to carry his favorite two cars around with him and two months in and we have somehow yet to lose them! He loves the track. You turn it on and the cars can move all around with no help. It's a bit noisy though. And when you turn on the optional music, it's very noisy! I wish there was a volume option for the music. That's my only negative. There are other sets that connect to this one as well if you want to expand. That's what I took a picture of. Seller was AMAZING to work with! I reached out about needing something due to my own fault and they sent it free of charge!

It's a nice toy, but everything about it has to be just right or cars will get stuck on the track. It also eats batteries. However, my little cousin loves it and can lay on the floor and watch it for a long time and this is a kid that doesn't quit moving unless he's sick or asleep. Oh, it makes noise, car noises and music, sooooo, be aware of that.

I purchased this for my six year old grandson for his birthday. He loved it and played nonstop for almost three hours. The movement of cars works very well and it is relatively sturdy. Suggestion: Put all stickers on and assemble before giving to child. It takes a while to do both. Put batteries in before beginning to assemble. Directions are small and somewhat confusing. I used the box image which helped me. It is NOT simple. I left it together to store which makes it a little cumbersome but too much to put together each time. It is somewhat expensive but really fun for kids and good for many ages, including my four year old grandson. They also have a additional parking lot to purchase which assembles with this unit. Don’t let it confuse you when assembling. They include an extension piece for use if you buy the parking lot. I messed with it for long time trying to figure out where it went before realizing it’s use. I may purchase later since my grandsons liked it so much.
