This is a terrific toy that is worth the hefty price. Assembly in 5 minutes and can be easily broken down for storage. My 4-year-old grandson was thrilled with this toy. Not all Hot Wheels cars will work and the speeds of cars vary which is fine. Can be used on carpet or hard floors. Love this track super easy to assemble. Hopefully you have more cars to put thru at once. The batteries I use are members mark(sams club) last about 3 weeks before needed replaced. (Roughly 20 hours or runtime) the motor is very noisy especially on a hardwood floor. But absolutely love playing with it.....I mean watching my kids play of course. ... show more

The kid in me loves this - cars go fast, they crash, you can put your hand in and stop them and it’s chaos. The parent in me regrets buying this as it’s extremely loud when it’s on, it takes several D batteries which do not come with it (fail on my part - who has D batteries just laying around???) and cars literally go flying off in any direction at any time. Also not all of the cars actually work with this thing, even when you stick with the same brand of cars. It goes through batteries extremely fast and it’s huge. Yes you can break it down but it doesn’t come with a carrier and it may take a PhD to put back into the box correctly. We just leave it assembled on the floor and I’m waiting for the day my son is a little less observant so I can donate it. Very cool. Very nerve wracking. I’m letting the kid in me rate this as a 5 and compromised by letting the parent in me knock off 1 star. ... show more

We got this for my 10 year old for Christmas and she's obsessed! I feel like I won the parenting award this Christmas because of this purchase. It was very quick to set up and boy is it powerful! You can get like 4 or 5 cars running on this thing and the crashes are epic, but it doesn't fling the cars too hard or far. It's held up to not only my 10 year old using it, but also her 2 year old cousins. One thing that doesn't bother me, but may bother other parents, is that it is pretty loud. I think the noise is worth if for how cool it is and honestly, it's pretty easy to drown out. But I figured I'd mention that because I know it could annoy some people. Bought this for Christmas for my son. was pretty easy to put together apart from putting all 4 track on "upside down" at first. there is a slight intended curve built into the track that matters. so it the cars go flying off and the little arm supports aren't on the ground, try flipping the track over. :) ... show more
