This track is very very fun for sure. Lots of hot wheel cars works, unlike the ones with complete loops that only a few (lighter cars) will go through. Very challenging for the kids to start adding and adding cars. Easy to assemble but a bit hard to disassemble. It uses 4 batteries type D, which as the round big ones and they run out of battery very fast if used consistently. I would say about 3-4 hours tops. Highly recommend getting rechargeable ones (learnt my lesson as I thought they were going to last longer) ... show more

I wished I was able to get more of these as gifts for birthday or Xmas as a kid so now its my turn to give this memory to my kids. Worked great. Only downside is it still uses those chunky D-cell batteries (just like back in the day haha) also, as an adult I realise now how loud this toy is, so its definitely not a common-room toy. ... show more

This is easy to put together. You'll need some adjustments of the track supports so that the cats stay on the tracks consistently. All of that only takes about 5 minutes or so. After that, it's all fun. My boy and figured out the timing to put more cars on the tracks, then we'd see how many cars we could get going at once before the inevitable crash at the intersection. Pretty soon the housemates and landlady all joined in and everyone was laughing when we'd mistime adding a new car or when crashes would happen. We probably spent an hour playing and laughing. This has been a wonderful race track. My grandson absolutely loves it. We bought it in April of this year and 7 months later the motor isn't working. I wish we would have taken out the warranty that was offered with it. For $58.99 I would expect it to last longer.
