La Compré para mi torno y las piezas no se mueven, de adaptan bien y dejan tornear bien, no lastiman las manos que era como mi susto. Sin embargo mi torno es de 10 pulgadas y el Bat también entonces me tocó adaptarlo a mi torno por que no encontré ninguna qué se adaptara a él tamaño, me tocó abrirle otros huecos e instalarla. Por otro lado le doy 4 estrellas por eso y por que Si O Si deberían incluir los ensambles o tornillos como otras marcas pero no las Compré porque el material se veía que se iba a dañar rápido. El material es como de lamidado de piso así que igual hay que tener cuidado por que con el tiempo creo q se puede ir soplando.

It’s not easy to stay put and had a few incidences if it flying off the wheel… the holes are not exact fit. I had to rubberized the screws to make the bat stay on better. The opening is a little larger which can make throwing a little more getting used too. However, being able to lift off the pot still attached to the bat is great. It is a lot more work cleaning up the clay that sticks to the corners but overall, a good concept.

This has really upped my pottery game! I’m a beginner and not very good at getting wet pots off wheel or bats without deforming. Round bats are hard to let dry on my shelf in the studio where I rent. This is the greatest—little square bats I can wire off and leave to get a bit stiffer before I remove. Love them! Great option for the price.

So far have found this bat system to be well made ….perfect for throwing smaller items…..only complaint is that there does not seem to be the option to buy more bats (only additional bats)….like the ones made by Touri in the system….not the poorly made “press board” bats that are available from others……..do not want to have to buy 2 or more bat systems to get enough bats.

The bat pin holes were not 10 inches apart from each other, I had to screw into the bat hole to make it be able to fit the pins that I have on my wheel. I also ended up getting two cuts on my hand when using the bat and trying to take a piece off. The edges of the insert were pretty sharp and I have two gouges in my finger.

Inner bats DO NOT FIT outer bat system. I bought 2 sets of these and one set fits just fine. The second set does not fit at all. The inner bats do not sit inside the bat system. They are all too big by varying degrees. I would NOT Recommend as it’s obviously a crapshoot when buying these.

This bat warps. I’ve had it for a little over a month. Everything was great. But now it’s warped so much that it doesn’t sit flat on the wheel. Can’t recommend this product anymore. It says it’s waterproof but obviously it’s not.
