    • Don't waste your money
I bought this product about a month ago and I installed it covering the top of a support beam on my patio which the birds seemed to love to roost on. One day I noticed a pair of morning doves were building a nest on top of the support beam which prompted me to buy this product. Today I went out onto my patio and looked up at the support beam and a pair of mourning doves are walking all over the top of this product and building a nest. Obviously this product is not sharp enough or spiky enough to keep birds from landing on it because I watched them walk back and forth over the tips of each of the cones. I'm super disappointed that this product had so many positive reviews because it did not work for me at all and the birds don't seem to care it's even there. ... show more

    • I used it indoors.
My cat likes to strech upwards on my flat screen TV. So weird. I just placed them in fron to fthe TV. Bought it because it was clear in color. Worked great.

    • NOT Preventative! MAYBE a deterrent! Will have to wait and see!
Just bought these and installed them yesterday. They DO NOT prevent birds or squirrels from perching/walking on. Whether they DETER or INFLUENCE them not to remains to be seen. They SEEM to work in this way.....fewer birds are perching on the fence top, and have only seen one squirrel (but Mr Squirrel ran right across them with NO hesitation. The adhesive tapes were useless. Bought a can of Gorilla Spray Adhesive and THAT worked like a gem (WEAR GLOVES!). They look great, just need to wait and see if they really do the trick! ... show more

    • They are definitely sharp
Instead of using this to keep birds off my windowsill, I placed these inside my screen porch windows. This keeps my cats from stretching up and picking the screens as claw posts. They work wonderful for this. An inexpensive fix, with plenty left over if I ever need to use more somewhere else.

Squirrel sits on top of them, and to make it worse, he actually uses the spikes to hang on so he can have both hands free to grab more bird seed. So this was less helpful than no spikes at all. Worthless
