Fast warm up, gets quite warm so be cautious. Highly effective- I tested it first on my lashes when they already had mascara applied and they curled and held the curl so well that even after using eye makeup remover, the curl was still in tact. Excellent product. The only downside is that it’s battery operated; I would have preferred a rechargeable device.

UPDATE: unfortunately, I'm on my 2nd curler due to the 1st one being defective, and now the 2nd one no longer heats. Since working from home, I don't wear makeup too often anymore, so it might get used twice a week. It's not like I use it every day. My first one died after just a few uses, and the replacement died after several uses but not many. If the parts were of higher quality, it would be a 5 star product, but that is not the case. Dropping my review from 4 stars to 1 star. It's not worth the hassle of returning and/or reordering every few months. I recommended this to a friend, too. :( I will start out by saying the outcome, super long, curled lashes, is 5 stars. However, I deducted a star due to the fact my first curler stopped working after a handful of uses. I returned it within a few weeks and am now on my 2nd curler. It heats in seconds to a warm temp, not hot, so it doesn't feel like it would damage your lashes. It curls great! There is a slight learning curve. First, make sure you get all of your lashes into the curler. Secondly, while curling, don't pull the curler upwards and back towards your eyelids. I think that is where the complaints of crimped eyelashes are coming from in other reviews. You kind of just hold the curler straight up and squeeze. Otherwise, you will definitely get a large crimp. All in all, the idea itself is 5 stars! Since I had to return my 1st one, as other reviewers mentioned, I can't attest to its longevity, but I am hoping for better luck with the new one.

This is a great curler. I'm not big on gadgets but I was able to make this work easily. There's a bit of a learning curve but after some practice runs it fit right into my routine. It heats fast, doesn't burn my lids and it curls like a dream. My stubborn lashes typically do not hold a curl through the day. But i put on my mascara first then use the curler and I'm set for the day.. It stays set until I remove makeup at the end of the day. I definitely recommend, especially if gadgets usually intimidate. This one is very easy to use and the results are incredible. If curly lashes through the day are what you want.

I've had this eyelash curler for over a year now...maybe two...but have only used it probably 20 times in total. I only use it whenever I go out for a night on the town and want to look dolled up. Traditional non-heated curlers never worked for my short, stick-straight eyelashes (I'm Asian). I also have hooded eyelids, which makes it much worse to hold an eyelash curl. This eyelash curler WORKS. I'm able to get ALL the way to the base of my lashes and curl them. The heat isn't so intense that it prevents me from getting to the base. HOWEVER, two AA batteries will only last about 2 weeks. You'll know when the batteries are running low when you turn it on and the green light starts flashing. I couldn't believe it when on my THIRD time using it the green light flashed. My recommendation? TAKE OUT THE BATTERIES WHEN NOT USING. It's a complete pain in the ass, but this will extend the life of the batteries. HOWEVER, after taking the batteries out so many times, a little plastic part within the curler broke off, and one of the batteries could no longer stay put. So I had to press down hard on the batteries to hold them in place while curling my lashes. Finally one day I got sick of doing it and threw the curler away. I ordered another brand of heated eyelash curler on Amazon (twice as expensive), but alas, that curler was WAY too hot to get to the base of my lashes. I kept flinching from the heat. So I returned it. Guess which one I'm buying again. SIGH.

This little curler has been great. The curl lasts all day. However, recently the sliding battery door is loose and won’t stay on. It is so annoying that I might need to toss it.
