Great set of brushes for eyes. Soft bristles.

5 star rating is on first impression, after 2 uses. I will update after having used them for awhile. The brushes are very soft, and all the bristles are even (which has been a problem with other brands I've purchased on amazon). The variety of sizes and shapes are great for creating different looks. On the handle of each brush, it indicates what it is used for which is good for makeup newbs (like me). These brushes come in individual thin plastic sheaths, inside a barrel. I really like the packaging on this product, it looks high end, and would be great for carrying brushes in your purse or bag, however there is an overwhelming odor from the barrel packaging. I think it is from the leatherette covering. Initially I thought it was the brushes, I washed them before first use, didn't put them back in the package, and they were fine. I kept the barrel and am hoping that the chemical smell will air out so I can use it in the future, but if not oh well. Very happy with the brushes so far. UPDATE: I've had these brushes for about a year and a half now, and I use them regularly (2-3 times a week) and still loving them. Bristles have maintained their shape and haven't fallen out (I wash after every use).

Hard to please but affordable and great quality!

I have a large collection of brushes, both high end and midrange. I do all my brush cleaning at once on the weekend, and I prefer to always use a clean brush, so I use a several of them each day. Because I go through so many, I cannot afford an entire collection of high end brushes, so I supplement cheaper brushes where I can. I've tried lots of cheaper brands in hopes of finding a good one, but sadly they mostly get donated to my young daughter's play makeup kit. I'm pleased to say I've finally found a set that meets my standards. The brushes are soft, but firm, clean nicely and perform great at laying the product down and blending. The photo I attached shows all the brushes I use throughout the week to apply shadow to the lid. One of the Lamora brushes made it to this crucial rotation along side my mac, sephora, and urban decay brushes. You can see in the photo it's very comparable to the others and this is the condition after several washes. If you're hesitant and need brushes, just buy them. You will be hard pressed to find a difference between these and a set that will set you back at 10x the cost. Time will tell if they hold up like the others, but at this price point I'd be happy to buy a new set if they don't. This is a great quality set at a very affordable price. Unfortunately, my poor daughter will not be receiving anymore play brushes from me, as I've finally found an affordable brand that stands up against the rest! Thanks, Lamora. The packaging smelled odd but the brushes didn't. There are some great brushes in this set. Easy to use and clean.

I got the rose gold and brown set. They are beautifully packaged in a round cannister, but upon opening it the canister had a off smell to it. Luckily the brushes didn't smell. After washing them and allowing them all to completely dry, I went ahead and used several of these brushes for eye shadow looks. Of the 7 brushes there is only one I really liked. Most of them are too dense and difficult to blend well, but those brushes were better at applying shimmer shades and when wet gave a beautiful result. I would purchase from this company again even though I didn't end up using a lot of the brushes included the ones I do use I really love and feel that those are worth the price I paid for the entire set!

They felt super soft and blended really well

I needed some new eyeshadow brushes because I've purchased quite a few new palettes recently. After doing a ton of research I found these and decided to give them a try. The brushes came in a brush holder with the brushes inside each wrapped individually in plastic. They had a slight scent but nothing offensive. I counted to make sure all seven were in there, and they were. I gave them a wash, reshaped them, and let them dry flat overnight. Only one or two bristles came out of one of the brushes so far, because they were sticking out so I pulled them. A few days later I finally had time to try them out. They felt super soft and blended really well. They pick up a great amount of eyeshadow and allow you to control how much you want to use. There wasn't too much fallout but I was using high quality eyeshadow so that helped too. All in all these are great for the price. I got the rose gold and they're pretty cute. I wish they came in pink. If they come out in pink I will repurchase them for sure.

Good quality and weight for the cost

I am by no means a makeup artist, and I trying to teach myself how to do my own makeup well. I probably have too many brushes for my level of inexperience, but watching videos of how to do eye makeup (which is pretty much all I do) I noticed I did not have the eye brushes a lot of people were using. That led me on an eye makeup brush search. I ordered another set that had good reviews, but when I got them I found the brushes to be very light weight being hollow plastic, although the brush itself seemed to work fine. I then went on another search and came across these brushes. I am impressed by the weight and balance of these brushes. I feel as though I have more control with these brushes, and I do not feel like they're going to fly out of my hand. The bristles feel soft, and seem to hold the powder well. I also like that the brushes are labeled, which is helpful for a novice like me. I would highly recommend these brushes, and again I am not a professional I just like how these are working for me.

Worth your money!

Admittedly, I was skeptical about these brushes because the price is very low for the amount of brushes here. The price is very similar to BH Cosmetics brushes, and actually is less, so I had reasonable doubts, since BH brushes have given me some issues in terms of quality and shed a lot in the time I used them. Needless to say, I really needed new eye brushes and looked around and found these. At the time of purchase I also bought one Sigma eye brush for comparison, and as kind of a backup for if these brushes didn't live up to the reviews. First off, the quality of these are VERY similar to Sigma's, and the set's price is less than the cost of a single Sigma brush. These brushes are unbelievably soft, and so far have not shed at all, and I have used them at least 5 times. They're small enough to offer lots of control while also doing exactly what the should be doing. This has honestly taken my makeup to the next level and I would definitely recommend it to others. If you're skeptical, I think the price still warrants a try.

I'm only just getting into the more advanced techniques with my makeup routine, but I would have to say that these brushes are fantastic. It looks like Lamora has actually listened to their customer reviews because I noticed a marked increase of quality when I compared the brush set I received to some brush sets from earlier posts. The quality of the brushes is top-notch (speaking from both a makeup user AND an art major's experience), and the synthetic fibers are luxuriously soft. I've washed these brushes almost weekly since I've gotten them, and haven't lost any bristles yet. If anything, there are way more bristles than I've seen in some higher-end brands like MAC and ItCosmetics, to the point where the classic shader brush is actually a bit stiff from all the bristles. That actually works for me, because I need more structure when applying from lid to brow, and there's plenty of flexibility where I need it in the blender brush. Honestly, I bought this set just for the blender brush itself, and it was completely worth it. If you're a beginner/intermediate level makeup artist looking for a quality blender brush, GET THIS SET. You can easily spend more than the price of this set on one blender brush at Sephora OR you can get seven quality brushes for way less. The packaging has also seen a remodel, and the brushes now come in a sturdy cardboard tube that you can easily repurpose (I use mine as a travel case). One warning, for buyers, though. Previous reviewers have commented on the smell, and they weren't kidding. It's pretty potent when you open up the bag. However, Lamora includes a helpful little instruction insert to help you understand and get rid of the smell, and after only one wash with Daiso makeup cleaner and baby shampoo, my brushes smelled just fine.

Decent Brushes for Price

Decent brushes for the price point. Two brushes I love, others are pretty good. I find them to be a little stiff outside of the blending brush, but I keep Sigma brushes at home, so maybe that’s why these felt more stiff to me. Either way, they’re great value for the low price. I just needed some good (but cheap) brushes to keep in my gym locker at work, and didn’t want to keep an extra set of Sigma brushes for that purpose. Mine came packaged in a tube which is really handy for getting ready quickly, but I read some reviews that they didn’t come in this packaging. Maybe they changed it by the time I ordered mine, and I do really like the tube. If you’re looking for a good brush that won’t break the bank, I recommend these. They’re cheap enough I don’t care if someone steals them out of my gym locker.
