Exactly what it says it is. Not color changing, or a bunch of unnecessary blinking modes. Just straight up bright USB powered light at a fingers touch. Good selection of colors, I have blue (pictured) and red, both are plenty bright.

[Edit: I missed the long press option! wow that really makes this thing really worth it. You can go to really bright or dim enough to see by and not wake people up, haha. I'm definitely getting another one of these in red for hiking] I think this is a decent nightlight for at home, if you have a USB strip/outlet to plug it into. I got it to have as a backup light for camping if our headlamps die, we could plug it right into our power bank. It's a very simple little light. Plug it in, touch the swirl on top of the light to turn it on or off. it says it's glass. It doesnt feel cold enough to be glass though?? But just in case, I wouldn't put it anywhere it could get scratched or crushed. This will probably stay in our electronics dry bag inside the bubble wrap that it came in As for it being an actual light: It's much brighter than I expected. It's not blinding but it's brighter than any cheapo nightlight that takes up a whole outlet slot. I dont think I would want it anywhere in my direct vision, but I could see it being useful in a power strip by a door or like we will use it, as a backup light. You could probably stick this to a looooong usb cable and hang it over a bed or in your tent and use it to read. probably good for an emergency or if the power goes out, just stick it to a power bank. I can't speak to the other colors, but I would like to try them ... show more

- This light plugs into a USB-A port and displays a quick flash showing it has power. Unfortunately, it does not turn on automatically, you must tap the top of the light to turn it on. This is inconvenient because, if it's plugged into a car or any place where the USB power is interrupted, it won't turn back on when power is restored. - The light always starts at its brightest intensity. To adjust the brightness, tap and then hold down the top to lower the brightness. Release and hold it again to increase the brightness. I do like the warm light. - Despite the power issues, the light looks fantastic, the price is great, and it is a good value. ... show more

Pros: -It's much brighter than I expected, but I also didn't quite know what to expect -I love that it's touch controlled: touch to turn on, touch to turn off, press and hold to dim/brighten gradually. -The color is super rich. If it says "green," which mine did, it's going to be crazy green. -It plugs in wherever you have a standard USB connection, which is EVERYWHERE these days. -The glass makes it feel high end. Cons: -I can't quite tell what to do with it -I'm worried that the glass will break, so I don't want to put it where people can bump into it frequently. Overall, this is a pretty cool little light. I don't know why I have it, but I do. I had intended to use it one place, but the cords get in the way of me plugging it in there, so I have to figure something else out. ... show more

Review for the Blue Light. Seems pretty tough being made of glass and not plastic, and looks just like one of those tubes from the 1960s era electronics.. Plugs into any USB port and lights up when you touch the top part. Nice and bright or dim. I almost wrote that there is no dimmer function, but then realized after more reading that if you long-press the top, it will dim or get brighter. That's a plus. Not a deal breaker, but it will remember its brightness level after you turn it off and back on again, but if you unplug it to move somewhere else, it goes back to the default full brightness level. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately I haven't had much luck with the one I purchased, as you can see in the video the lights on/off switch doesn't work consistently. When I'm able to get it turned on it does work nicely, just be careful to check yours right away in case you also get a dud.

Kind of neat little novelty light. I'm not sure what I'll use it for yet, maybe some ambient lighting in the car. I have the purple one, but I wish it was more purple than it is, it's actually kind of pink, way more than my photos show. The camera makes it look darker purple than it actually is, but it's still ok. To operate it, you tap the end of the bulb to turn it on and off and you change the brightness you touch the end and hold it until you get your desired brightness. ... show more
