I was looking for a better webcam for my office setup for the numerous video calls I am on each day. My current setup has the camera very close to my face and on screen it gives everyone a close up of my shoulders up with my face filling the video box. Its semi awkward, removes anyone from seeing my decorated office, and eliminates anyone seeing my hand gestures that i use while speaking. The unique aspect of this camera is that it has a highly positionable wide angle lens that overcomes the close up nature of where the camera sits. When on screen with this camera it "shrinks" my face so that it no longer fully consumes the video box. Now I am seen from mid chest up with a wide shot of my office including the decorations i have on the wall behind me. With a wider perspective people can see my hand motions or if I am even pointing at or trying to show something. It is much more usable for a work environment camera allowing me to be more animated and natural on video calls. The picture quality is very sharp and no one has complained how i sound when using the built in microphone. Overall i am enjoying the new perspective this is giving me and my viewers.

I was able to pair with Bluetooth for sound. When trying to use google meet the video function is prevented. I did all of the steps on from the faqs. The customer service agent working through the chat online support function had no idea what they were talking about. Everything they said was the OPPOSITE of what the faqs. The concept is cool when it works.

Works great, super easy to connect took 2 minutes max. I like that you don’t need any sort of software or anything to get this working. Also since it’s meant for the center of a table it’s easy to move from room to room if needed rather than others that need to be secured to a wall, tv or monitor. The main call out I have is the volume. The speaker at max volume isn’t very loud so if you have a room with a lot of people or noise you might struggle to hear. We use this in our office conference room so we can use the TV for viewing the caller and the attendees in the room. One thing that’s a little funky in regards to how it’s set up if using a tv is that since you have a 360 view the caller can often see themselves on our tv because the camera picks up the tv projection in the room, which can be a bit odd. Additionally if you have laptops being used around the table that can block the view of the camera a bit. Overall though it’s a great budget friendly alternative to many other camera options that are in the thousand dollar range.
