Been teaching balloon scuplting to young kids in a summer camp for 15 yrs. Went on a hiatus the past 3 years, and when I came back to do it again needed all new supplies. I ordered about 6 new pump styles to see what works for younger kids so they can pump their own balloons. For me, an adult, this one is the best out of what I just ordered. This pump is very similar, if not identical, to some of the pumps I used to use. Kids 8+ or 9+ can use it well. My 6 yr old struggled with it (on the back pump action) and he has above average motor skills, which is aligned with my previous years' teaching. But overall seems a good quality that would last. The 2-way action is a time saver! My cousin and I inflated close to 75 balloons in about 2 hours (with just this one pump). The only drawback is the lip of the pump hit the outside of our wrists and definitely left a bruise after doing so many balloons. Next time, I'll put something around the lip to keep our wrists safe. ... show more

I needed to blow 50 balloons in the same morning I had to put up party decorations, frost a cake, and prepare for my child's party, so this pump saved the day! The 2-way air pump made it really easy to blow. The size of the pump is bigger than I expected, which made it easier to hold. And the shape of the blower head (whatever it's called) made it easy to get the balloon on and off the tip. I'd recommend this pump! ... show more

Much bigger than expected making it a little awkward to use. I purchased 2 to blow balloons for a party and after 5 balloons the team and went back to blowing the balloons up with their mouth

I got the air pump for my son. I did not like it because it poked holes in the neck of the balloons that we tried to inflate. It was difficult to fit the balloons on to the tip and instead of filling them up it would deflate them. It would put a little air in but then air would run out just as quickly. ... show more
