We got these wine glasses for our camper because glass just seemed like a bad idea as things do get knocked around when driving. The glasses are clear and a pleasing shape and size. Other than being light weight compared to glass, its hard to tell they are not glass. The bases are larger to give them good stability. These are very elegant (plastic) wine glasses and they arrive in an attractive box. I also ordered the Champagne flutes from the same company, so that is also in the picture. My teens emptying the dish rack laughed when they picked them up and said, "I thought these were glass!" These are easy to hand wash or wash in the dishwasher. Either way, they will most likely dry with some minor spots unless you towel dry. I wish there was a lower capacity option - these glasses are SO BIG! I also pictured them next to our crystal, which is a size I would prefer and also, I feel, a more typical glass size. We have had these for several weeks and are overall very pleased. We were breaking too many glasses having them out on our new deck. These do get a little top-heavy, even less than half full, but the large base makes them harder to tip. We sadly spilled some wine, but no glasses were broken. There weren't any reviews when I purchased, but I took the chance, because I liked the company's sustainability goals. These are actually worth it. Broke too many glass glasses at the lake. Was hesitant but bought these based on other reviews. I have a set of stemless plastic wine glasses and they have all warped and feel cheap. These, while not as heavy as glass, are smooth on the lips and solid of structure. I’ll probably buy more. Not for your wine snob wine but great for your Aldi specials whole floating around the lake on the pontoon ... show more

Absolutely perfect! I purged my glassware due to kids. Yes, I plan to one day own glass wine glasses again... but then again, these are so great I might never go back to glass. They are nice and thin and the edge feels smooth when sipping. They are very clear and look like glass. While they are lighter than glass, they still have a nice weight too them. My son likes to bang them together just because he can. The only downside is that I can no longer say that I'm having a glass of wine. My son corrects me, saying I'm having a plastic of wine!
