My old Torro case didn't show much wear and tear; it held up very well. So I knew I would buy another Torro for my new phone. It is very high quality, real leather product. What I like the most is that it has a fold over cover that protects the face of the phone. No need to get one of those plastic protectors for the front of your phone. Also, it has a superior design for the substantial15 Pro Max camera lenses. Instead of a thin strip of leather that continues around the outer edge of the camera, the base black plastic molded case has a raised molded strip around the edge of the camera that protects the camera mechanism. That is, other leather cases have a thin leather strip around the outer edge of the camera which I think could break or become deformed. I am familiar with Torro iPhone cases. I have purchased three of them prior to this last purchase. Have always purchased the natural leather look which is very sturdy and protective. This time I ordered a beautiful red shiny leather that I love. I had previously ordered an iPad cover of the same color. I have always been completely satisfied with my previous cases. This one is a little loose on the magnets that keep the cover closed. I decided to keep it anyway; because I like the brand, workmanship, and looks, especially this red color. The craftsmanship and really everything about this case is great except that it is HUGE it bulks up your phone a lot. If you'd like a case that will make your phone really bulky and thick but looks cool then this is for you. It is a gorgeous case I only wish they would have put some time into designing it to be as thin as possible. Why make all the bulk card storage fit on the front? Why not fit those cards against the bulk lens guard on the back, that way it would use less space and make a thinner case... ... show more

This is my second Toro case, I had one for an iPhone 13. It’s a great case the leather is great. It’s well-made I have no idea why someone said they couldn’t reach the buttons. The buttons are fully exposed when you open the case. Further, that obnoxious chemical smell other mentioned isn’t present. my old case has the smell of fine leather. If you’re old enough to remember, there were shoe repair shops, and the smells in there were wonderful. That is sort of what my old case smelled like. This is just a well-made fine leather case. My son smelled it, my daughter-in-law smelled it, and I smelled it . It does not have the smell of anything. It will soon after I spill stuff on it. ... show more
