It’s in the Details! My very first item from TORRID. I’m a big girl – over 200lbs and 5’9”– and my ideal size is usually 12-14. I ordered a 14-16 1X. The fit is on point. The arms are long enough but I would prefer a slighter long arm to reach past my wrists when I lift up. The arms are also roomy and loose – which I love because I’ve got some wings. I can see why the price point is a bit higher. The cut is extremely flattering on my body boxy shape. The material is incredible – light and airy crepe (79% NYLON 21% SPANDEX). I’ve never had such a light and comfortable blazer. I won’t be a sweaty mess in this one because of the crepe material. The bodice is also lined. The front us designed to stay open like a cardigan. Limited low stretch so order your comfortable size (probably up one size of you’ve got a wide shoulders or bigger arms). The back is VENTED, ya’ll. The details make this blazer an everyday staple for a quick jaunt out to the store or a long night out with the girls. Love!!! ... show more

I love an oversized blazer with a camisole, cuffed jeans, and black boots. I am thrilled with this Crepe Blazer from Torrid. The sizing seems a bit off: Usually, if I am going for an oversized fit, a large or x-large is sufficient to achieve that look. This jacket is 1X. If I had purchased the medium (my normal size), I would have seen the more tailored, fitted look. What I wanted was roomy and casual, and sizing up did the trick. I love that the blazer is extremely lightweight. You have the look of a blazer with the weight of a blouse. I dislike that there are no pockets. Another negative for me was that there is no front closure. For the price paid, I had hoped for more. Although I like the blazer, I think it's priced too high. ... show more

I almost didn't get this blazer, but I am sure glad that I did!! OMG it's great!! It's lightweight yet made very well. It's made by Torrid, and you can never go wrong with their products anyhow. Additionally, the blazer is made for plus size women, so it's cut a bit looser and it's flattering. I don't feel like I am stuffed into a jacket.
