I've used several cases from Torras for my last few phones and this one, their Case for iPhone 15 Pro Max, holds up to the impressive standard to which I've grown accustomed. There may be similar-looking cases available for a few dollars less, but they won't match the quality and reliability of this one. Here's the short version: buy it, and you won't be disappointed. Torras makes this case in several colors; I have the blue one, on a Blue iPhone 15 Pro Max. It has a smokey transparency which lets my iPhone's color shine through in a subtle way. The plastic of the cases's back is smooth and sturdy, and the softer plastic at the edges provides extra grip, both in the hand, and on smooth surfaces like a sofa armrest or bus seat. It strikes a balance: you're not going to drop it, but it will still slide smoothly in and out of your bag or pocket. The case itself is resistant to fingerprints and scratches, and provides what Torras calls ShockMAT Drop Protection at the corners. I don't know what that is, but I've dropped my phone to the sidewalk several times with no damage, so I guess it's working. The front of the case extends upward from the screen a short distance, so your front glass is protected as well. The case is fully MagSafe compatible and it works with the inexpensive, non-Apple Qi chargers I own, as well. Plus, the magnets in the back ring are strong enough to hold your phone to a metal wall, like the fridge door or the side of a filing cabinet. One quibble: the phone in this case is too tall to work on one of my non-Apple Qi chargers... I am not sure I can blame this on Torras, but the phone does charge without the case. Finally, the killer feature: the ring on the back folds out as a grip or kickstand and, new for this generation of cases, it rotates a full 360 degrees, allowing you to pivot and spin the stand to hold your phone at the exact viewing angle you're after, in either landscape or portrait orientation. The folks I work with are particularly impressed with this feature and several have bought the case after seeing mine propped up on my desk. I was kind of nervous about ordering this case in the beginning since I’ve never tried this brand, and I did not see any reviews for the iPhone 15 Pro Max because it was so new. I was looking for a case with solid construction to protect my phone in case it falls and something with an adjustable kick-stand since I do use my iPhone to watch videos sometimes. This was the best-looking one I found, so I took a chance and ordered. Pros: - Simple design and minimalist - Elegant - Good quality - Functional - Good customer service! Cons: - A bit expensive - It leaves fingerprints unless you have a very dry hand and never apply lotions - It doesn't charge via Qi charging station - The 360 rotation is cool but perhaps unnecessary as the circle is a perfect circle so no matter how you rotate, it's the same - Inadequate quality control. The first unit I received from Amazon was a defective one, and I had to return it Overall, I am very pleased with this product. I bought this case last fall and I think it is an awesome case. The color, the kickstand, the interchangeable buttons, all make for a great case. BUT, recently, I have had the misfortune of dropping the phone a couple of times. The phone was well protected, but the screen protectors cracked both times. If they could somehow make the outside edges a little more rigid, I would say this was one of the best cases I've ever owned. ... show more

Good design overall. Fits well and has a good grip so no slipping. Folding stand is solid and firm when used. Where I down graded this case was the false advertising in the pictures. They show the case as having the ability to stick it to a metal wall / pole with no issues. Tried sticking this to my fridge and it just slid all the way down. Magnets aren’t strong enough for the weight. Debating on returning it. ... show more

I just recently ordered the new iPhone 15 Pro Max and was looking for a case to go with my phone. I had recently changed phones from an iPhone 12 Pro with a MagSafe case on it. I added an OhSnap! grip on it and it was just super flimsy. I have Qi chargers on my desk and in my car so it was super important that I was able to connect to these chargers with a strong magnetic connection. The great news here is that the magnets being on the ring gives a super strong connection. In fact it’s actually stronger than the connection that I had with the OhSnap! grip. The other thing that was super important to me was the ability to prop up the phone in multiple angles. As you can see from my photos, there really isn’t an angle in both portrait and landscape mode with this case. The ring hinge is super strong and is able to keep the phone propped at any angle for an extended period of time. It also doesn’t feel like it’s going to degrade over time. The thing I hate about grips on phones is that they prohibit the phone from laying completely flat on the table. While the phone won’t lay completely flat (due to the camera bump), the ring sets inside the base of the case so it is not the reason for the slight angle. It’s very minimal and doesn’t bother me at all. The last thing I really appreciate about this case is that wireless charging rate does not seem to be affected by the metal ring. It really does meet the “Made for MagSafe” requirement and with third party chargers it does not seem to interfere. Generally when I buy a new iPhone I buy about 4 different cases in the first 6 months of use because I just can’t find something I like. This case I really like. It’s light, doesn’t add bulk to the phone, and stays secure to whatever I connect it to (fridge, car mount, desk mount, etc…) I would highly recommend for anyone looking to prop up their phone and also wirelessly charge their phone! ... show more
