Because the magnetized side of the level is flat and doesn’t have a V notch, it easily slips to either side when on hand bender sized conduit. Basically, you need to reposition it several times and then very carefully make the bend so as not to disturb it too much. Over 1000’s of bends, the extra time adds up. Just spend the extra few bucks and get the Klein.

I really wanted a level that I could stick in the drawer inside the house, and this is small enough for that purpose. It's also very sturdy, and accurate.

I work in resin, a thick substance that cures hard. I've been needing a level for this craft so when the resin is in molds and is on my rack ready to go into my pressure pot that aids in removing bubbles, I can have everything sit level and prevent uneven curing. No one wants a lopsided diorama or other items. Most other levels I have found are far too long to fit into my pressure pot that's only 9 inches across, the smallest one that my roommate offered me was 2 feet long, and most others I found are at least a foot. This one however fits perfectly and is just the right size needed for my little crafting corner. I love that it has extra angles too, so now I can stick my molds onto my pots insert, slip it in, and just set this on top to make sure everything sits nice and level before it all gets sealed up for 12/24 hour cure times.

Aluminum construction means this level is much sturdier than plastic models. Accurate and simple to use. The orange color makes finding it in my toolbox easy. Very happy with it.

Like every torpedo level out there this one has to compare to the Klein torpedo level. I feel this one does very well. It used the same bright colors high vis orange and florescent yellow vile. The viles are just as easy to see. Also important the viles are inserted in the right direction for use in bending conduits. The magnets are not quite as strong but still pretty strong. Not thrilled with the recess in the middle of the bottom bc it breaks up the line I'm drawing but still workable. The most attractive thing about this level is you get the same as you do with Klein with out the 30 dollar price tag. This is good for electricians like me who leave them stuck all over the place and forget where I left them.
