These lamps work well with other LED lights I installed in my cargo van. The brightness is equal, and I replaced the bulbs in my overhead cabin map/courtesy light fixture. I had to crimp the socket blades a bit to get a good grip on these lights, but they work well. Very pleased. Just aim them where you want the light to go in your fixture as these are not cob led lights. Bought to replace the old incandescent dome light in my 1980s Toyota pickup, which was quite dim. These are so bright, it feels like daylight in there. A couple of very cool things about this bulb are 1) you can spin the bulb in the clip/outlet to adjust the amount of light you get - in case it's too bright (seriously), and 2) these run very cool and draw almost no power so they won't eventually cook your plastic light cover, and you can leave your dome light on for days or maybe weeks without it drawing down your battery. ... show more
