  • It's a great kit but !
This ia a great kit for 2008 chevy dually duramax, But it rode horribly and after i installed myself and adjusting and readjusting keys , So i done some research, I needed new upper control arms with correct angle changes my brand new Monroes I installed 3 months prior to bilstein 5100 , And ordered a differential drop kit which i had a shop install to some what correct angle of cv joints as passenger side boot split and slung grease all over my freshly painted calipers and brand new 22inch fuel runner rims , Everything installed easy by myself besides drop kit which requires cutting some frame off to fit.... ... show more

  • Good value for the money!
I think the lift was a bit more than advertised, but may have been my adjustment of the torsion bars.... Easy to install if you have experience and tools, be careful if you've never dealt with torsion bar keys... Did appear to make ride rougher, but not severely.

  • Works great
Does what it says. Truck looks great and pretty simple to install. Even with the shock extender brackets I still didn’t have enough travel in my shocks. Also know that changing your torsion keys will 100% effect your ride quality. The higher you go, the rougher the ride.

  • Does what it says...rent the autozone tool
This kit gave my old 2005 1500hd a nice little lift and allowed me to fit tires that are semi worn 35s with minimal trimming necessary. Great value if my CV axles survive. I do not even have the keys maxed and I am happy. I put this on myself in about 4 hours in my driveway with my kids running around and frequent interruptions. I rented the autozone torsion key loading tool. Very glad I did, couldn't have done the job without it. I'll update this if something terrible happens that others should know about. I would buy it again at this point. **update** Reduced to 1 star because the ride is now terrible. It bounces like crazy and the keys are on cranked halfway. Not only annoying, but a legitimate safety concern. I'll be replacing mt front shocks and if that resolves the issue I will update again. Edit: I put on new shocks and the truck is now very driveable. The kit shouldnt be used above have cranked in my opinion as the angles are extreme and will cause serious wear issues, but the dangerous bouncing quit after the new shocks. My bad for blaming the kit....the kit only gave the truck back ride height which revealed the crappy shocks. I would buy again. ... show more

  • Don’t buy.
The torsion keys need to be re-designed. There is no adjustment height wise on them. With the adjuster screws even backed all the way off providing no load on the torsion bars the upper control arms were hitting the stops creating a very rigid ride. Waste of money to try and clear a 33” tire. Add some preload to your stock keys to clear the tire and still have suspension travel for the shocks to work like are supposed to. Would love to return this and get my wasted money back! ... show more

  • 3" is to much for alignment
Good product, but 3" keys are are too much to be aligned with stock steering components. Took them out and installed 2" keys and everything fell right into spec on the alignment.
