I think 99% of the negative reviews are because people have unrealistic expectations. No, This isn't going to make your hair look like it did in your 20's. No, this isn't a magic spray that goes on perfectly the first time without a single second of testing or practice. No, this isn't going lasts until you want to wash your hair "next week"! Yes, this is very much like a colored Hair Spray, so a bit of stiffness/crunchyness is expected. And yes, if you rub it, it will be on your fingers. It's not permanent! Lol If you truly worry about how thin (or gone) certain spots of your hair is, you'll take the time to practice. You'll understand that looking great for the day/evening means you'll need to shower before bed so you don't transfer the product onto your bedding (or wear a sleeping cap!). And maybe wrapping a paper towel around the can during prolonged spray isn't such a bad hassle to deal with to keep the sunlight from bouncing off your head! Come on people. You're expecting magic, not a product that covers your scalp. I got it this evening, and immediately ran to the bathroom and sprayed! Okay sure, it dripped a little around the nozzle (not down the whole can) And sure, too close will give you a 'bullseye' effect. And yeah, it can get on your forehead a little, but it took a whole two seconds to wipe away.. but a quick fix, do your makeup last! Don't fall apart and slam the product because it wasn't perfectly perfect right out of the gate. Think of it like makeup for your hair/scalp. When you started wearing all that eye liner, lipstick, eyeshadow and mascara, was your first experience the outcome of a front page super model? Realistically, nope. Same for this. You're never going to have the look and feel of your long lost hair (unless you pay for implants, but that's expensive lol), so shut that idea out before you try any of the hair thickening products, or you'llbe nothing but disappointed. But you can look 15-30 years younger with a little practice, patience and effort. I gave this product 4 stars simply because I ordered the Dark Brown and it has a bit more red tint to it than I think it should. Although it gives a great added pop to my hair, if I want to match, I'd have to do my whole head, and that's a waste lol. So I'll test some other colors and see what I find, but for quick 'on the go' spritz, this color will do.

This is basically a hair spray that comes in various hair colors it has tiny fibers in it and when you spray it on thinning spots, it really does fill them out. It looks completely natural and unless you are sweating a TON, it will last until your next wash. Use on completely dry hair!! Highly, highly recommend this product!!

After weight loss, my hair really thinned out. I bought this to help fill in some where my scalp showed through until my hair could have time to grow back. I really like it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I spray it on and then style my hair. I use my fingers some and so I have to wash my hands afterwards. If I scratch my head during the day, I have to remember it will come off on my fingers some. It's a great product to use, though.

It’s probably the best least smelly, best colored spray on the market. However, the new can sneakily holds a lot less product than it used to, which is annoying. (I use medium brown) If you wash your hair everyday you won’t be happy with the amount of uses you can get. Best get a wiglet or wig! I have a small area I use this for (and wash hair 2 or 3 times a week)or else I would’ve gone in that direction (may still with the change of product amount and the high price ). If you work out or head sweat you must use hairspray to fix color or it’ll run down your face. I also wear a sweatband or bandanna during workouts. My rating probably wavers closer to 3, but it’s still the best option I’ve found in the spray category.

I love the concept of that covering roots growing out and/or thinning hair, but I don't like hoe sticky is is and how it dulls the hair, even if you use it sparingly, which is hard to do If your hair is thinning out, the last thing you want to do os wash it more often than otherwise necessary, but with this product you have to. Also stains your pillow case and tub, but washes/scrubs out.
