A little too early to tell, and I am also doing a two prong approach using a solution (not from this company) , micro needle and this red light therapy. I haven't been using this solely. But I can say that my 2 prong approach IS working. I think I'm in to it at the 3 month mark for the other approach and about a 1 month with the red light therapy. but both approaches uses the premise that the issue is lack of blood flow. Not a dermatologist or a doctor, so my GOOD results is purely anecdotal. I WAS using topical finasteride and minoxidil, but developed a reaction to the topical finasteride. Relatively soon after stopping the topical finasteride I started re-losing my hair. I found that the minoxidil alone was not stopping the thinning hair. But I had no adverse reaction to that product. I use the foam version. I recommend this product as PART of your anti-hair-loss regime.... ... show more

I just got the iRestore Pro with the battery pack. And I just used it for the first time. It's very easy to do. It does take a bit of getting used to. Apart from having to helmet on your head, the only noticeable thing was the red light that was visible. I guess we'll see how well it works

Updating this review because the customer service is top notch. Still wish there were more lasers but seeing other people’s results does clearly show that this works. And laser therapy in general. Good quality helmet, feels sturdier and more well made than my Bosley one that broke miraculously 1 week after the warranty expired and I was unable to get ahold of support after trying for two weeks. This helmets main drawback to me is not many lasers. I counted and there are less than 50. I know from firsthand experience that more lasers = more growth despite what refutes they may have on led +laser combination. However the company itself and quality of the helmet are better. I will continue to use this one but I wish there were at least 100 laser diodes in this one ... show more

The fit and form of the device is pretty good. It’s convenient to have a battery pack with it in order to move around the house with it in. Overall it doesn’t really get in the way and it’s easy to work into your schedule for the day.

I've noticed a big difference. It took a long time, about 4-5 months with regular usage. I recently started losing hair again due to surgery and the helmet has helped.

I just received the product last month. The delivery was prompt and even required a code to deliver for safety purposes. I have not been using the product long enough to see any results yet. But so far, it has been fairly easy to use and doesn’t really take effort. I just end up doing some work while I have it on. Cons: I wish that the helmet had a comb or something that would help the light get to my scalp. But so far, I haven’t noticed anything else that was a con.
