It’s a nice little table. One of the things I see everyone complaining about is that they are unable to tighten it or keep it from turning. There are nothing in the directions saying to unscrew the table top and take it off, put the metal ring that comes with it over the screw shaft and then put it back on and then tighten it with the wheel. It’s simple but doesn’t say to do that anywhere. I custom-made mine with the fire department, sign and turned the table top into a Lazy Susan for parties. It’s a good easy to assemble table. It’s sturdy and really like that it’s adjustable. I’ll echo what one of the other reviews mentioned that it’s easy to refinish. I purchased the bronze color hoping it would pair with stools with a black base. Bronze color had a lot more copper color than I anticipated. I detached the top quickly and spray painted it black. Wood top is a bit more red than I would prefer so I will likely refinish it at some point too. I’m still extremely happy with the purchase and would recommend. ... show more

Something I struggled with before buying this table was functional scale so I’m including a picture with two mugs and a standard dinner plate. We recently downsized and I wanted a small table to have coffee and maybe dinner for 2. While I’ve eaten here alone & enjoy my morning coffee, this would be pretty tight for 2 plates. No regrets though & here’s why: Pros: The adjustable base functions as promised. Reading other reviews some made it sound like the table top always moves but as long as you tighten it up properly mine does not even wiggle. I love the versatility of being able to easily adjust height which this table allows you to do. I wasn’t sure if I “needed” a foot rest, but my daughter preferred this design and I have found it to be useful. I was worried that the bottom might be too busy, but once it was in the space across from a wood stove it blended right in with the decor - I think chunky was a good choice over sleek for my purposes. Also the feet of the base are adjustable. That detail is especially important for anyone like me with uneven old (beloved) wood floors. Cons: Nothing can’t live with or fix. I’m considering replacing the top at some point because the texture feels forced & the color is blotchy. I like imperfectly natural, but this feels like cheap fake forced rustic. Maybe I’ll make it a couple inches larger when I do, the sturdy base could definitely support it. The metal work is a little rough too, I might paint it with something flat as the bronze sparkle seems to accentuate the “meh” finish. With that being said because the piece is so solid overall I’m not worried about making a small investment to customize it. To be fair, someone else might not even be bothered but since my space is so small this is highly visible and I want everything to be of a particular cohesive high quality. Overall I definitely think this is a win, I’m using it daily, and it’s a lovely addition to my space. ... show more

Okay, you need this table. Seriously. We recently moved, and our new living room is oddly large. So once we set everything up, there was this kind of dead space near the stairs that needed something. My dad LOVES to sit in bar-height chairs. So we thought, why not add a table and chairs behind the couch? Now, we have this table and 2 stools behind our couch. It has proven to be absolutely PERFECT for entertaining. Let me tell you, I looked for the *right* table for a month before landing on this one. And I’m o b s e s s e d. We get so many compliments on this table. The table top looked a little dark in the original photo, but it seems to be an adaptable coloring. With lights on, it seems to be a medium brown. Either way, this table took like 4 seconds to assemble, and flows perfectly in our house! My style is farmhouse/coastal and my husbands is industrial, so this table works for both of our styles! There are a few people who posted pictures with their table splitting. Thinking nothing of it, I ordered it the dark brown/silver color considering reviewers only had duds. Well when I received it, there was spider cracks on the side and part of the bottom of the table. These cracks will only worsen when putting weight on it with your elbows. Aside from the QC, the color and finish of the table was beautiful. It was darker than I had imagined. I imagined a dark cherry color, but this was a very deep brown. These tables need way more quality control if I already have cracking. I ordered another table from another seller with the medium brown/black color, equivalent to the brown/bronze on this listing. The color is like a teak finish. Google "premium teak oil" for images, and the TEAK OIL product, the color would be in the middle of the 6 swatches they show on the front of their product. Beware, they have a recessed sub-grain across the table that they blotch with a white/grayish something. It looks extremely ugly having brown with white zebra stripes. I used a bit of polishing compound with a toothbrush to remove the white crud, and used dark walnut danish oil stain to fill these crevices. Makes it look 100 times better without being reminded of being at the zoo. ... show more
