I am a new homeowner. I had to buy a kitchen trash can. I went with a 7.9 gallon can and these 8 gallon bags to start. See picture. They're way too small. Why? I'm left with so many questions. I wasn't supposed to get 10 gallon trash bags or something, right? Sizing up for trash bags isn't another one of those "common sense" things that everyone else knows about but I'm just learning at 35, I hope? I can't be that bad at adulting. Maybe the trash can is at fault here. Maybe that seller is purposely mislabeling 10 gal trash cans as 7.9 gal just so they can make fun of all the reviews left by confused and frustrated millennials. I don't know if it's me, the can, or the bags but whatever it is, there's a 1 in 3 chance that these trash bags suck. Plus they're flimsy af even for biodegradable bags, so that's why I gave them 3 stars. ... show more
