So fantastic when you want to have a switch but you don't have, or can't have wiring. This is a far better than a three way because it's less wiring, and most important, you can control the dimmer from both ends. If I have any gripe, and it's minor, it's the aesthetic of this switch. I don't love it and the buttons are a definitely a tad crowded on the switch face. I use the new Diva Smart dimmer as my main switch with which it pairs and I wish the Pico looked like a normal switch just as the Diva itself does. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens in a future release and when it does, I'll replace it. With all that said, the Pico is a godsend. This thing is just what we needed. We wanted a remote for some lights in the media room so we didn't have to walk in the dark to find the switch. This is perfect! I like that you can easily program the middle round button (on the switch and remote) to a set dimness, so I just click that and there's just enough light to find your way without blinding you like when you switch on a regular switch. I went from X10 to Lutron light controls and the Lutron works great and is much more dependable, but my only negative is it takes 18 Pico remotes to control 6 different sets of lights between 2 rooms that only took 3 with the X10 remotes. They need to make a remote that can control multiple separate light circuits. Overall I am very happy with these. ... show more

I've worked in lighting design and installation in high-end residential and commercial applications in a very pricey Colorado Ski town. This solution is fantastic. Runs dimmable lighting systems from ANYWHERE without having to run wire!! Fantastic. Lutron is expensive, but you can't get better.
