The bench was a bit larger than I had anticipated and much more sturdy than I could have hoped it would be; I feel like this was a great buy and I am satisfied with my purchase. It makes a great addition to my small covered front porch. It took me an hour or so to assemble (it was a rainy day so I assembled it in my home office). The instructions were simple enough, and all the hardware plus a few extras were included; a true rarity these days. I really appreciated that it used inserts and screws for the bench slats to ensure that they are installed with appropriate spacing. The rest was mostly screws (there are small piolet holes so you know what you're doing,) and heavy duty bolts in places that made sense. It was honestly one of the most well constructed things I've bought in a long time. I will also add that the planters on each side are a beyond generous, there is plenty of room for potted plants. I will say though that they are slatted, so I would not put anything really heavy in it (this was the only part of the bench I questioned, which isn't a huge deal to me). They do have 3x small holes in those garden planters on each side, which will help with cleaning them out when they get dirty, or if water gets in there, at least there is a way for it to get out without damaging the bench. ... show more

This was easy to assemble and looks fantastic. Very sturdy and beautiful. Took about 45 minutes to assemble. If I had a helper, I would have easily had assembled in under 30 minutes.

The wood is cracking and splitting everywhere! has only been outside for 2 months and never sat on it. Got in touch with customer service and the promised to send replacement boards! Let’s just say it’s been a month since the promise and nothing. So I got a bench we can’t sit on ! I guess we wasted money for a cheap split and cracked wood ! Spend more and buy a quality bench. ... show more
