  • You'll wonder why you didn't get one sooner!
Style: 50A High Frequency Cut+200A TIG
Purchased for one job where I couldn't use any of my 220v or engine driven welders w/o 250 feet of extension cords or weld cables. The job did have 120vac @ 20amp outlet nearby so I thought this would do the job and it did! The job was to weld 3/8th inch plate steel using E7018 3/32" rods at 100 amps and it worked GREAT! Since then I've used this welder extensively as its the only welder I own that I can load onto my truck without a crane and this little machine has yet to let me down, it just works and works well! ... show more

  • i am very impressed! the seller is also very good!
first off wow! one of the best customer service i have ever had! second this machine is great! I am cutting up a old shipping frame to get project metal out, it is cutting like butter! it is super easy to set up right out of the box. depending on the air hose they send just use a heat gun on low and wala it will flex right into place and not leak. DO use tape on the threads on the reg, I put one of my qd on it and no issue, no leaks. I have run this on 220 and 110. works fine on either, BUT, HUGE warning and must do, if you change from 110 to 220 or other way around, you must!!!!!! wait and let the machine sit un plugged, it says 2 min, give it 5 min to be on the safe side. it senses the line voltage and the caps must be disscharges and then plug in with machine off!!! then turn it on and it take about 15 sec it will wake up, it senses the voltage then comes on. the fan is a high volume and quiet. the machine has not ever shut off on me while cutting thus C chanel apart. I have had many brands and kinds of cutters, welders etc, this is so far amazing! light and just flat out works, I use a wire brush to clean the tip now and then, and it is lasting a decent time so far, I marked the front gauge for the lower and upper air psi so its easy to see and make sure is right. i set it just above the .3 and it is ideal and running this on 35 on the read out, supposed to be 35A but it is working better then oxy asetaline! I don tneed to use the rest it comes with but I can see it being handy for some work. DO NOT just drop or throw down the torch as it has a ceramic cover, it will break, and I really like it better then some of the others with a black bakalite cover, they burn up any way then the brass end is open and it will stick to the work , haha, not fun. but this one is great. I LIKE IT!!! over all this gets A plus, and the seller also gets A ++ . I want to also add, I am using a small 150 PSI HF compressor I think it is 2.8 cfm but it keeps up just fine and will cycle and not just keep running so it is not over using the air supply! thi makes it very portable, also on the 120v plug i ran it on the 3500W inverter genny! it didnt grunt at all! ran it just fine. set at 20A and was cutting 1/8 angle , very pleased with this indeed! ... show more

  • Blew up around just two hours of use!
Style: 50A Non High Frequency
I bought this in January of 2024 and use it right away to cut some 1/8 angel iron for a battery box on my trailer and it worked fine. Also cut some 1/4 inch steel plate for ramps and it struggled but did the job. Haven't used it since. Today, about a year later, I was happy to have it on hand for another metal project. I was cutting from the same 1/4 plate when the 40 amp breaker popped. I flipped the switch off on the machine, flipped the breaker back on, but the cutter wouldn't turn back on. I opened it up to see if there might be an internal fuse and found nothing. No fuse, and no burnt parts. My welder runs on the same circuit so it's not that. I'm more a carpenter/plumber than a metal worker but I'm pretty sure I was doing everything right. Used the recommended settings and had a good clean ground and cutting area. It's dead. WTF! ... show more

  • Cuts well, more than advertised
Style: High Frequency
Purchased this plasma cutter for general metal work on my small horse ranch. I have used it to cut 3/4" steel. Not the smoothest cut at that thickness, but 10 time faster and easier than using a hacksaw blade on a reciprocating saw or a cutoff blade on a grinder. Usually after I cut metal that side, I am welding it to something so the roughness of the cut isn't a problem. I get nice smooth cuts 1/2" and thinner. Biggest down side was the plasma cutter had a different plug than my welder. Not wanting to install a second outlet, I change the plug on the welder and the outlet to match the plasma cutter. After using it a couple of times, I realized that when I am cutting, I am usually welding it to something. Swapping power cords got real irritating the second time I used it. Solved it by installing a second outlet so both the welder and plasma cutter could be plugged in at the same time. ... show more

  • Quality and service
I have enjoyed using my plasma cutter since July. My torch head developed a crack, reason unknown. Tooliom is replacing it under the warranty and it has been a relatively easy process. I appreciate the support and service from the company. As a welder, extreme heat can damage the best of equipment. So I appreciate the rapid response and resolution. ... show more

  • Perfect for the price
Let’s say you get what ya pay for it’s not a bad machine but I’d rather stick to my miller. It was easy to assemble beside the air chuck I had to get my own to fit the compressor the one they send you that goes into the regular just seemed to lose so I had to redo all that. It also doesn’t seem to like 110v so much so I had to put a 220v outlet in my garage and I seen better results with the higher power over all I’m rating this 3/5 price is great but quality isn’t so much unless you modify a few things!! ... show more
