Purchased for one job where I couldn't use any of my 220v or engine driven welders w/o 250 feet of extension cords or weld cables. The job did have 120vac @ 20amp outlet nearby so I thought this would do the job and it did! The job was to weld 3/8th inch plate steel using E7018 3/32" rods at 100 amps and it worked GREAT! Since then I've used this welder extensively as its the only welder I own that I can load onto my truck without a crane and this little machine has yet to let me down, it just works and works well!

I tried the cutter with no success. The cutting torch cut on randomly. I’m sending the machine back because it did not work properly.

I have orderd this and spend money on various consumables. Ive tried this on rusty and perfectly clean and new metal. The welder turns on, the welding capabilities of this welder are very poor. With both tig and stick. The plasma cutting works decently but still not the best. I would very much appreciate a refund without return for wasting my time. For someone looking for a reliable welder look for an onbrand or even a good used one. These welders are from companies like alibaba or temu bought for pennies on the dollar and sold to us for atleast twice as much. If i had known this i would have gotten a better one. I have no way of returning this and now im stuck with a welder that does not work. I was not even offered a replacement. The accuracy of this product is questionable. Ease of use is questionable. Appearance is nice but more than half is plastic/rubber. Value for money is not worth while. Stickiness is accurate since it welds your cunsumables and makes them get stuck onto your material. Heat retention is not something i think matters regarding this item but i will out that word in this to make sure it hits the too reviews.

PAY ATTENTION EVERYONE...IM SEEING THAT ABOUT 50% OF Y'ALL , MAYBE A LITTLE MORE, ARE HAVING TROUBLES STRIKING AN ARC WITH YOUR NEW PLASMA TORCH. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, IN FACT I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF RETURNING IT WHEN I HAD AN EPIPHANY THAT LEAD TO THE SOLUTION. DO THE FOLLOWING STEP AND YOUR TROUBLES WILL BE GONE: TAKE YOUR GROUND LEAD/CABLE AND UNPLUG IT FROM THE CORRESPONDING BLACK QUIK CONNECT RECEPTACLE ON THE FRONT OF YOUR MACHINE...NOW TAKE THAT SAME GROUND LEAD AND PLUG IT DIRECTLY INTO THE RED COLORED QUICK CONNECT RECEPTACLE THATS JUST TO THE LEFT OF WHERE IT ORIGINALLY WAS. IN OTHER WORDS PLUG YOUR GROUND CLAMP INTO WHERE YOUR STINGER NORMALLY PLUGS INTO. PROBLEMS SOLVED AND YOURE WELCOME!

I don’t know if I’ve received a defective unit or if the quality just isn’t up to par but as well as it worked the few times I’ve used it I just suddenly stopped working on me. Amazon was nice enough to send me a replacement so I’m willing to give it another try. I can only vouch for the plasma cutting feature as I didn’t get a chance to use any of the other processes before it failed. 5/11/2025 It’s been a few years now and after I received my replacement I’ve not had any issues! Works great! It was affordable. And not bad at all for starting as a hobbyist welder.

Very impressive for the price point. Arc and plasma cutting work great and its very portable as well. Haven't used tig but I imagine it works as well as advertised.
