I have a little backyard pond for my 4 pet turtles. I like draining and replacing the water ever so often and this time I thought it was time to refresh the little setup I got going on back there. The sun damage to the last one made some rips in the liner. So I bought this liner for my backyard pond, with the rips there has been an increase in algae growth, which is great in moderation but I think a new liner will help reign in the overgrowth. I don't love leaving negative reviews but I wasn't thrilled with this pond liner at all. It arrived quickly, and the cost seemed fair, but that's where the positive ends. The material is different from other pond liners I've used. This liner is more like a heavy duty plastic rather than a rubbery material liner with more of a inner tube feel. It's stiff and difficult to work with unless your application is without curves. Laying it out in the sun helps make it a bit more pliable but it will never be wrinkle free if you're building a pond. I also found that this is VERY susceptible to small punctures if you aren't incredibly careful. I had to rebuild the waterfall area, patch and readjust the liner, because one of the rocks placed apparently put a couple tiny punctures in the liner. I'm also concerned with how this material will hold up to our New England months of freezing temperature winters. I'll be waiting to see if It will hold up or crack when the freeze hits. I have a sinking feeling I'll be busting my backside rebuilding it next year. Unfortunately once this is unfolded and spread out over your lawn there's no returning it so here I am disappointed with the memorial garden I'm building for my son. Maybe this is something better bought in person.

I was a lil iffy about us making our own pond but it's coming along nicely even if a bit slow lol. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase of this liner, it's very flexible and easy to install. It allows you to get creative while building a custom pond without needing extra bracing or supports due to its sturdy construction. Which is perfect for us newbies trying out best to do this on our own. This material has proven to be a real workhorse of a liner. Additionally, because it doesn’t become brittle over time in sunlight or cold temperatures, there is no need for costly repairs down the road from exposure damage due to aging material. Best bonus feature - this product comes with an underlayment that ensures your pond stays damp and healthy all year round while drastically reducing any potential leakage from around the edges of your liner.

The media could not be loaded. My gardner resommended this liner for use with our garden fountain. It’s a large vase where the water trickles down and collects underneath and get filtered right back up. The bottom needs a waterproof liner and stones on top to create this illusion. The liner is nice and thick and had plenty of material to work with.

We recently put in a small garden pond and used this liner. It was easy to use, was pliable yet sturdy, and worked great. It has been in for a couple of months and is holding up well. I think this is a good value for the price.
