When I bought this one, I did not expect the quality too much because I chose this because it is cheap even though it has 4 chisels. The quality of the product is much better than I expected, the material itself looks very good, it's very sharp and good for chiseling wood, and it's longer than other chisels. At first, I didn't think it would make a difference, but after using it, I found it very comfortable to work with. I can see why longer chisels are more expensive.

I bought 1 chisel in lowe maybe 2 years ago it was 18 dollars and dulled to quickly, so I hot a set here for working the iron wood and cocobolo. for 15 bucks I got 4 chisels. I use the widest. Quality and sharpness retention of the blade appear way above the cromax crap. So I am happy with this.

These look to be very serviceable chisels as long as they are kept sharp. Haven’t had them very long. Arrived in pretty good shape in terms of flattening and otherwise making ready for use. Good buy, IMO.

Visually appealing. A bit longer than my Japanese chisels - I like having both. I like having a very narrow 1/4" width in the set. Takes a nice edge, even with my beginner-level hand-sharpening skills. Quite happy with my purchase.

These are great quality, very sharp and you get a nice selection of chisel sizes, a nice case with about 6-8 red pencils as well. Definitely recommend.

Super good quality. The wooden handles are attached well to the head of the tool. The case is very durable and nice to keep everything together and organized. The roll style is very handy when you need them quickly. No digging in a bad to find what you need. The pencils were an added bonus and also fit in the case nicely.

The proportions are excellent. The blade is nice and long and thin but not too thin. The finish and edge shape was horrible. Two of the four were at least 5 degrees off. To fix this slowly reshaped them with 400 grit diamond stone before sharpening and polishing. The wood handles have a disgusting poly coating that I am going to scrape off, sand, and oil. No hand tool with a wooden handle should have a poly coat on it. The rings that are supposed to keep the handle from splitting are loose and thin but should work after I knock them around with a hammer for a few hours. The surfaces of the cutting edges were pretty far from flat but this was corrected with again a lot of work on the diamond stones. One of the four has a little hairline split in the handle but as long as that doesn't progress these should last for decades. Worth $15 but only if you're willing to put in the work to fix them.
