This watch is a cheap version but is nicer than some I have bought that were more expensive. The buckle is plastic and it is very lightweight. I can't really speak about the app since I need a new phone - i couldn't download the accompanying app. But will when I can.

This review is for TOOBUR Smart Watch for Women Alexa Built-in, IP68 Waterproof Swimming, 1.8" Fitness Tracker Watch with Answer&Make Call/Heart Rate/Step Counter/Sleep Tracker/100 Sports, Compatible Android iPhone (Pink). The Smart Watch arrived promptly, as advertised by the seller and nicely- packaged in a custom cardboard gift box. What you get is the watch, a USB charging cable and a quick-start guide sheet. This is my first experience with a Smart Watch so I do not have a comparable reference. The short charging cable attaches magnetically to the back of the watch and was effective at charging when plugged into a USB outlet. I found that the watch will not function unless/until paired with a smart-phone via Bluetooth and activated through the VeryFit application. There was no difficulty in setting up VeryFit on an android device and then pairing with the watch; it appears that some of the advertised functionality of this smart watch is provided by the smartphone and is dependent on the continuity/stability of the Bluetooth connection. In particular, all of the operating instructions for the watch are provided via the VeryFit application. The quick start guide basically instructs the user to charge the watch and then load/pair the application on the smartphone; this in a small, grey print-font such that my tired eyes needed special illumination and a magnifying glass to read. Once set-up was complete, the watch effectively displays the correct time and tracks pulse rate, oxygenation, sleep, stress levels, activity performed etc. as described in the VerifyFit application. Watch operation is not as intuitive as I would like and some of the icons are not immediately identifiable without cross-reference with the VeryFit app; nevertheless, it all seems to function as per design. I am told that the watch face and bracelet are a little too large and bulky to be a stylish fashion accessory and so will most likely be used mostly when specific health and exercise indicators are of importance. ... show more

Easy to start with as charging it was a simple task. Once you download the required app, most things are easy to set up as the instructions are all through the app. I think it is a good item for a younger lady or somebody who is very active that is afraid of damaging a higher end smartwatch. So, I ordered this on the basis it mentions it is Alexa enabled. All I truly cared about was the time and Alexa. I know. Maybe it is all the times I jokingly refer to Alexa as a nosy B-word and I AM more of a 'Hey Google; gal, going through all the gyrations to get Alexa enabled was a chore, especially after having to do the veryfit app business to connect that. Anyway, I could not get the Alexa app to find this item and connect it. Not for lack of trying. Full disclosure, I write this after having easily charged this item and setting it up. I AM disappointed about not being able to connect Alexa and yet...I'll live. So, I AM wearing it as a watch. And who knows, maybe I will start using and enjoying some of the other functions on this watch as time goes on. ... show more
