Ordered this for my blink outdoor 4 camera so that I can place it near the entrance hole of my bird house. Was looking for a strong mount that needed to be firm but flexible. I love nature and want to capture birds as they enter and leave the nest box. The box is near a metal fence that I was easily able to clip this onto and position at just the right angle. It holds very securely the fence and the cable is very stiff and difficult to move but that is what is best about this mount. The birds tend to use the camera as a landing point prior to entering the nest box. I had another brand that was way too flexible and even the tiny weight of the bird and a small wind gust would move the camera position. This thing has been locked on for a few days now with plenty of wind and bird activity and still in perfect position. The clip is made of sturdy plastic with foam pads on the inside to not damage or mar up the surface you are clipping it onto. The only thing metal seems to be the clip spring. This is great that the clip wont rust over time and stain the surface it is connected to. The only thing to be aware of is that you really need to tighten the blink adaptor tight to the mount before installing the camera. The mount is so stiff that I found the camera unscrewing as it was trying to move it into position. Had to take off the camera and tighten it real well and install the camera again. Very happy so far and hope they hold up over time.

The mounts themself were pretty good but the hardware included was cheaper than cheap. Easy to install but get your own hardware.

These work so much better than the standard blink mounts. The install the same way, with 3 provided screws. They rotate 360 and can pivot, so it's a lot easier to get your camera pointed like you want it, and easier to adjust. The other plus is the part that snaps onto the camera is separate, which makes it way easier to snap on then attach to the mount. This is one of the biggest gripes I have with blink cameras, they are almost impossible to snap on to the mounts they come with! This deals with that because at least i can hold it close in two hands and snap it on, instead of trying to snap it on to a mount above my head.

I got this to use on a Blink 4th gen outside camera when we are camping. This mount allows me to wrap the camera around a tree branch, tree truck or picnic table leg super easily. Camera stays nice and secure and does not mover around in light to medium winds. Overall, super happy with this style of mount!
