I lay epoxy floors and have had some bad skin reactions to the products we use, even if splattered droplets get on my long sleeves. I bought these to prevent any more reactions. They work great. The topcoat doesn’t leak through at all, they’re tight around the arm and wrist openings so they won’t just fall off, and I’ve reused the same pair now for months. They are very durable and water resistant but the part of them that goes around your arm is very tight, and I’m a very small lady. I ordered them because I work with fiberglass particles. Would work well on a kid.

very very strong smell when i opened them. i couldn't wear them immediately. i let them air out for a week, then i washed them with my laundry and let them air dry. the smell was still noticeable but not nearly as strong. finally, i was able to wear them without feeling like i was doused in chemicals. I'm a housekeeper at a hospital. i bought these to wear on my arms while I'm cleaning. chemicals splash on my arms very often and i think I've developed an allergy to the cleaner. my forearms are unbearably itchy with little bumps. these protectors keep the chemicals off me and I'm slowly starting to see improvement in my skin ... show more
