Update: I just dropped my phone from about 5 feet onto a hard, uneven tile floor. The edge of the case around the camera lense cover finally broke off so the camera lense cover won't stay closed. My phone is still in perfect condition. I'm pretty sure I would have lost the whole phone if I didn't have this case on it and I definitely would have damaged my lenses. I added a picture of the case as it is now, after 6 months of use and abuse. It's been dropped on concrete warehouse floors, flung across parking lots, and dropped on basically every surface I can think of. My phone doesn't have a scratch on it. Even with the front piece broken, I can still put it back on my phone securely and I feel like it will be protected until the replacement gets here, except for the lense cover part. I immediately ordered this exact case again, but this time I got 2 of them to have a backup. This is exactly what a case is supposed to do... Take the impact and save the phone. I wish I could give it more stars and that I could have my replacement immediately! Original review: I don't use the screen cover, so I can't comment on that, but the rest of the case is very nice. Its comfortable to hold, has held up to multiple drops onto hard surfaces, and looks very nice. There is a tiny crack in the plastic at one corner, which probably happened one of the many times I've dropped my phone off of a shopping cart seat into a concrete floor, but the phone was perfectly protected. I have the dark purple and while there are some spots that the finish has rubbed off, the material is black underneath and you really have to look to see the spots. I am really hard on phones. My only real complaint is that the camera cover can rattle sometimes. I definitely need a camera cover and I don't want a film that will cause issues with the photo quality, so this is great. My case for my s21u had a camera cover that didn't rattle, but it also popped off every time I dropped my phone, so I will take a little rattling. This cover is definitely sturdier. I also never use the kickstand, so I can't comment on that. The sides are grippy and secure for holding but the phone still slides in and out of my jeans back pocket easily. It's not perfectly stable on a flat surface, but it doesn't rock enough to be annoying while playing a game. The phone without a case is terrible to use on a flat surface and this case very stable, if not perfectly stable. Overall, it's a great case and a great value and I don't think I could get something perfect even if I paid three times as much, so this one is a winner. I lost my s21u to a drop on a rough surface and the screen shattered, so I wanted a case with more of a raised edge around the screen and I didn't want to fiddle with a screen protector (I can't stand the thought of bubbles or being able to feel the edge of the protector). I was worried that the raised edges would cause problems for playing full screen games and so far, so good. I play Stardew Valley and need to be able to use the edges of the screen and I have had no problems playing with this case. The edges around the screen are at an angle and feel smooth, so it's not an unpleasant texture. The cutout for the S Pen could be less sharp, but it doesn't bother me much. At least it's very easy to tell which end is up? It's a big phone and the case adds some bulk, so make sure your other accessories fit it.

I have used this case type with the sliding lens cover on my last couple of high end phones. I am not a professional photographer needing lightning fast access to the camera for a wildlife or sports shot but don't find needing to slide the cover a problem at all. It has become a reflex reaction as I pull the phone out of my pocket if I intend to use the camera and it is ready to go. I have large hands as many people with a phone this size will and can open the cover with one hand. The original Tongate I purchase for my S23 Ultra did not include the lens cover. I prefer using 9H glass and thought I woudl just leave it off. I had to rethink that when I realized that, on this new model, the lens cover is part of the rugged design. The case is slightly larger and the cover locks into it from the front improving its drop resistance even further. Fortunately, and to my surprise, there is a second front frame included that does not have the screen protector installed in it. It seem like a very high tolerance fit so to be sure my 9H glass (the one often recommended for the unit) would fit, I took an Olfa razor knife and back scrapped the inside of the clip in part to provide a slightly larger space for the glass. Once I had the glass mounted and the unit assembled I'm not sure that was really necessary. Overall, it is an improvement over the earlier model which I saw no problem with at all. As a bonus, my 9H screen protector also came with a 9H assembly to protect the camera lenses. I was unable to use that one the earlier version of the case. There wasn't quite enough depth to allow the door to move freely. On this case the extra fraction of a millimeter needed was there so I tried the fit. In this case a very tiny easing for the hole in the case that the lenses peek through was necessary but, again, a little back scraping with the razor knife eased it out the small fraction of a millimeter that was necessary to have the camera lens protector fit into the opening. I now have the sliding door as well as the 9H glass protectors for the lenses. Overkill but I do like taking care of the things I purchase. They typically still look new when I need to replace them after a few years as technology evolves. As with the earlier version, the phone will charge in the 3rdparty 3-way charging stand Samsung list under accessories on their web site. You do need to make sure you have it centered and I find it works better with the phone vertical than sideways but it works well. Finally, the cover an the belt clip are an interesting addition. I thought I would toss that part aside too but the quality is good and it does hold the phone securely so I will likely use it if I'm taking the phone up on a ladder or into other precarious positions. There is a nice positive lock onto the case that isn;t simply friction. I have used cases costing 5 or 6 yimrs as much from the major brands on phones and iPads and things over the years and am really glad I found this type a few years ago. The protection seems to be at least as good and, yes, I've accidentally drop tested it from the roof of my car while moving and off a few ladders and the phone has survived without a mark even though the shock was hard enough to crack or dislodge the replaceable 9H screen protector a couple of times. If you are looking for something that will really protect the phone and especially the cameral lenses and don't mind adding just a bit of bulk as compared to a tight fitting neoprene case or something like that, I woudl highly recommend this case for either the Note 20 Ultra or S23 Ultra phones.

I have had this case for over 2 years now. I waited to do the review until I had used it for a while. Pros: It kept my phone from breaking when dropped. While the internal plastic broke, it took multiple drops to make that happen. Slide covered the lenses and light. Nice form, fit, function. Comfortable exterior. Cons The stand broke after about 2 months of use, so I had to use a detached stand. While the slide protected the lenses, it would slide closed while trying to take a picture, after it was used a lot. It was annoying. When the internal plastic pieces broke, they started dropping out. For a cheap case, it protected my Samsung s23 ultra well. Even when the back cracked it still worked. It took many drops from around 4-5 feet. I gave it 4 stars because the stand broke so early in is life.

The packaging is a little intimidating (I mused that it was more secure than that of the phone). So once opened, there are options. The frame with finger print security and one without. I opted to use the frame with the finger print security. 1. Phone is fully protected- Corners and edges. (I haven't dropped my phone yet so we shall see). The camera lens protector is an attractive feature. It snaps into place so a quick photo op may escape you. But at the same time it wouldn't slide out of place to expose your lens to possible damage. 2. Not overly bulky and gives a robust appearance. 3. The kick stand is effective for both landscape and portrait viewing. Whether it would remain in tact over time, will be determined. 4. The fingerprint security WORKS! Though you do need to press firmly. I must state, it was not working when first installed. However a few days later, I opened the case and using the wet and dry wipes provided, cleaned both sides of the protective screen and voila ... it works! All in all I am pleased with the case and feel comfortable that my phone is safe from damage if it happens to fall. The true test is yet to materialize! UPDATE: MARCH 2024 Just about 5 months and: Kick stand broken and inner case cracked, phone slipped out of my hand. Phone tumbled out the car. The shutter for the camera slides open, no longer locking. UPDATE: JUNE 2024 Phone got knocked out my hands accidentally landed on tiles. Phone fell off the bed ... fell on tile flooring. Indeed the case didn't hold out however I can attest that this case takes all the beating to ensure your phone is well protected. My case is a goner ... as shown in the video but my phone is in mint condition. Yes the case will crack but your phone is guaranteed to be protected. If you're looking for protection this is what you need.

I have used the people case for approximately a year and love it. It wasn't until my 10 year old autistic son aggressively threw my phone onto the cement floor recently that it started to show any signs of wear. The overly aggressive throw cracked the screen fingerprint glass cover and the frame. I just replaced it with the black version of the same case and I feel confident in my replacement because my phone survived unharmed. I only chose the black case because the price was cheaper. I loved the purple 💜💜

You can't get better than this case for ultimate protection, access to all ports, buttons and features (S-pen etc.) and for maintaining a good look to the phone. This item comes as a 2-part case like the clear PU ones you may have had in the past. The back face and sides are made from a tough, rigid plastic and the clip-in frames are softer - one without a plastic screen (if you want to fit your own screen protector directly to the phone) and one with, which therefore means the entire phone is completely encased and protected from dust. You have to put the phone in your chosen front frame first. On the frame with the plastic clear screen fitted, the fingerprint sensor region is covered by a small adhesive dot - you peel off the backing of this dot first (having cleaned the front of your phone first) before fitting the phone to the frame, such that there is close adhesive contact between the protector and the phone screen in that region and the finger print sensor works as it should (it does work very well by the way). You can see the adhered region on the screen after fitting, but I live with it. The case has a sliding camera cover for all 3 lenses - you rarely find this on any case, let alone one which is a full body cover. The case rear looks like it's tough and it is. There is a case stand on the rear too - you insert your fingernail approximately half way down its length where it is jointed, and pull - the stand will pull open and is a sliding triangle which can be adjusted for different tilts. I can get the phone to charge even on wireless chargers that do not say they accommodate thick cases, but to be sure you could buy the Kpon "S" model for 10mm cases. Overall, there's simply not another case that is both a full body cover and has a sliding camera cover, so if you want 100% protection there is NO other choice. 5 stars all the way.

I've used expensive otterboxes before, yet this phone case has held up better than I could have hoped for. Ive owned a S23 Ultra since it was released back in 2/2023. In the past 3 years, my phone has been dropped face down and face up many times on surfaces from bathroom tile, patio brick, pavement driveway etc. (between myself and my then 3 year old). I started with the flexible plastic screen that comes with the case, but had trouble using the fingerprint unlock. I switched to the tempered glass top instead, and have had zero problems since. After almost 3 yrs, I'm pleasantly surprised to say my original phone screen has remained crack free! There is only a small crack in one corner of my phone case and the original tempered glass I installed. The case holds up extremely well, despite not being as bulky as some otterboxes. The slide over the back cameras finally broke off after 1 year, and the back stand popped off after the 2nd year. But, the case is still going strong and protecting my screen which was my main concern. When I finally upgrade my phone, I will buy this same case again. 'Do not fix what isn't broken!' (They even put a thank you card in the box, showing their appreciation).
