I was hoping to get something that would fit not only my 14" MacBook but I was hoping it would be big enough to carry my iPad Pro 12.9 while still in its protective case. - not at the same time but an either or situation. It fits my 14" M1 MacBook pro in its protective case like a glove. nice snug fit. The strap is decent, if basic, but does have nice clips, to easily attach and remove the strap. I have aftermarket strap pads to add, if I need them so the gripe that other reviewers made about the lack of padding is a non-issue for me. I thought it would also accommodate my Tablet, but unfortunately the protective case that I am using on my iPad pro is too grippy to fit easily into the super soft yet tight enclosure. If the zippers went just a little lower it would have fit. (This review is starting to sound R rated). Nevertheless this is a nicely designed case, that I'll keep, it just didn't quite meet the versatility I was hoping for -- though I may end up trying to find a cover for my iPad that is a bit more slippery and if the iPad wasn't in its own protective case it would easily fit. The front accessory area is simple: It features: A Couple pockets one perfect for Touchpad and another perfect for mouse., another good for pens, pencils, small cables and the main area perfect for my at-a-glance monthly calendar. It does feature a separate carry handle so good from that perspective. Can't speak to the waterproof-ness, I don't intend on testing that aspect, and since I just bought it I can't attest to its durability, though it seems pretty solid. At about $20 more than similar cases I would expect quality and it seems to be there. Considering the cost of the equipment I'm carrying in it, the premium seems worth it. I purchased this bag for my 12.9" iPad Pro based on the quantity of 5-star reviews and am overall pretty satisfied with my purchase. The bag is very sturdy and well-made, with rounded edges and CornerArmor technology designed to protect the edges of your devices. The overall design is reminiscent of Samsonite suitcases and feels equally sturdy and secure. The bag is a little bulkier than I expected, though it leaves plenty of room for accessories in the front pocket. The material on the inside is velvety smooth and high-quality. My 12.9" iPad Pro fits snugly within the case, with about a millimeter of leeway around the edge. If only the case were a little more compact, it'd be perfect.
