The band that goes around the ankle is slightly loose, but not enough to be concerning as I wouldn’t want them to be too snug. I bought them in navy to go with a Lily Pulitzer dress & bummed because the width of the band that goes around the ankle is too wide & doesn’t go well with the dress. This is the first pair of Tom’s I’ve purchased. Tried on a few different styles, but never thought they were comfortable. This pair is so great!! They go with all kinds of outfits and are actually comfortable!! I have worn them twice for longer than 6 hours each time, on my feet, on concrete and have had no issues with knee, ankle, arch, or ball of the foot pain (which is usually what gets me). An improvement on the TOMS heels design. They are much more comfortable than the previous pumps and heeled sandals I have purchased by the brand, and the light material is holding up surprisingly well to weekly wear around town. Would recommend and repurchase.

Haven’t worn them anywhere yet. With just trying them on, they have comfort padding. The heel feels s little taller than I expected, but the fabric that zips up around your ankle makes the shoe feel really secure.
