I wanted to love this cardigan, and it is probably right for many buyers, but the fit was awkward for my body type and what I was looking for. This being said, with the right information, you may have a better experience if you get the right fit. I am more curvy, bottom heavy hourglass, and tend to wear clothes that are a little more fitted, as sometimes larger shirts or sweaters can look boxy on me if they don't have a waist. This cardigan was very oversized, to the point I just wouldn't wear without modifications, as it looks comical. I ordered an XL because I usually wear this size in thicker, less stretchy sweaters or jackets. However, I am a cusp size with a large and this added to the issue of this being entirely too large on me. For sizing, I would recommend sizing down, even if you want an oversized look. I think it is at least 1-2 sizes too big. If you want a fitted look you may want to size down two sizes. This item just felt a bit undefined, like it had not real shape, and it hung kind of limp to me. I may pair with leggings and a belt to see if this helps for a sweater dress look. As far as quality, this cardigan is 5/5. They did not skimp, and the materials are thick, warm, and what I would expect for this price. They make sure to include extra buttons in case you lose one, with the buttons themselves being thick, durable, and made with nice materials as well. This looks to be very well made with elevated hemming and craftsmanship. The material is not necessarily soft, but feels thick and warm and cozy. Overall, this is a quality product that I think buyers would enjoy if they get the sizing correct. Make sure to keep in mind how large it is if you are not looking for an extra big fit (though this may look cute in a kawaii look). Other than this, this sweater is a great addition to your closet. However, I do think it is overpriced, and likely due to being name brand. However, you will be hard pressed to find this style, with this attention to detail, with this quality, elsewhere. So, this can make it worth the extra expense. If you do buy it, and get the right size, I do not think you will be disappointed.

I am genuinely blown away by the quality of this cardigan. It has a properly weighty feel that speaks to its excellent construction, setting it apart from flimsier alternatives. The fit is superb and highly versatile, working well with a wide range of my existing outfits. The Tommy Hilfiger Boxy Varsity Cable Cardigan is a nice, soft cardigan. I ordered the "Sky Captain" and it's main color is a beautiful navy blue. This sweater fits true to size. I was a little worried that it would run small, but it doesn't. From what I can tell, this IS a Tommy Hilfiger cardigan. This sweater appears to be well made. I didn't notice any loose threads, skewed seams, or skipped stitches. It's a fairly heavyweight cardigan. I can see me grabbing it as I walk out the door to run an errand, go to an appointment, or to walk the dog on a cool autumn day. I'm sure I'll be getting lots of use out of it. I highly recommend this cardigan. (My star rating system: 4 stars met my expectations, 5 stars exceeded my expectations, 3 stars fell short of my expectations, 2 stars significantly fell short of my expectations, 1 star highly suggest not ordering)

I don’t think I have owned anything from Tommy Hilfiger, but I loved this sweater as it hangs on my exactly the way I want. I usually wear nearly all of my jackets oversized, just love the way oversized looks on me. This was lightweight so I won’t be able to wear it for long during the Fall season but mine came in great condition no loose threads or weird cabling. This could be dressed up or down, and while the weather is still temperate it could be worn without being to cold.

The sweater is good quality and is heavier weight, but the cut is boxy. It fits shorter in the back than in the front. The green color is as pictured, and the embroidered detail on the pockets is well done. It would be warm in fall and winter. I would recommend it for those who prefer a boxy sweater, but the cut is not flattering on me.
