I love this brace. How products can help each of us individually is highly subjective in terms of whether or not it helps someone, but I find this brace to be a five-star product for my needs. It provides the perfect amount of compression with my lower back. It is extremely comfortable to wear. I ordered the Med/Large and my waist is around 32 inches but because my issue is my lower back, I needed it a bit bigger so I can rest it just above my hips as well. Med/Large is perfect. There is about 1" leftover velcro when I wear it so it's just the right fit for me. If you are on the bubble in terms of size, I would opt for the next size up as I think you will be happier with the compression and fit. I have been wearing it outside my clothes while working from home and I find it creates a great feeling of stability and relief for my back. When I need to take it off, I miss wearing it and the feeling of compression it provides. I think I read a review that the edges are rough. They must have been reviewing a different product. The edges are rounded and extremely smooth. The brace's fabric is extremely smooth, the item is very soft and very flexible. If you are looking for something very rigid, this is not the product for you as it may not meet your expectations. I personally find, though, that it helps keep my back in perfect alignment and it just feels great to wear because it's so comfortable and provides just the right support for my lower back. It's thin enough and flexible enough so you could wear it under clothes if preferred. I read some negative reviews that it moves as you wear it. I just don't personally find that to be the case. Every once and while I will adjust it just because I sit and stand quite a bit throughout the day, but adjusting it periodically when you are moving a bit is to be expected. The velcro is very strong and never snaps open. My lower back pain is now subsiding each day as a result of the brace, and when I do wear the brace each day, my back automatically feels better during the time I'm wearing it. I love it. I personally highly recommend the product, but everyone's needs and expectations are different. I'm not sure if 'brace' is the right word for it as it's so soft and flexible and brace makes me think of stiff and uncomfortable, but whatever you'd like to call it, I do highly recommend trying it to see if may meet your needs.

Back gives out and still wear this when I am standing or walking a long time. It has been beneficial helping me keep going longer and stronger. Thank you for this good product.

I bought this and I tried it, then I returned it. The issue i have was the velcro seemed cheap and weak for brand new. Im not a big person so it should work well but I feel like it wont stay on.. The quality seems good.

I like the product, it does help support the back. I just wish these top manufacturers could figure out a women's shape and build a better back support belt. A little curve here or there and vertical support braces that aren't 6-8 inches long.

It works great. Secures my back while I work out. I do a lot of cardio so I sweat no matter what I have on, but it doesn’t feel like I’m in a saran wrap like the others do.

I've never had a back issue, but I tried to lift something that was too heavy and cracked a knuckle in my spine! The Tommie Copper Back Brace has been a God-send when I need to be active and when I need to lift things (like bags of groceries!!) It fits well, is comfortable to wear - I can even teach Yoga wearing it. I recommend this brace, especially if your back just needs a little bolstering to make it happy :)
