These are great, we have two. One child is 30lb and it works well for them. The other is 52lb and this doesn’t hold them up as well, butuckily for us it was the motivating factor to get them ready to swim! Saving for use for a younger sibling! I would def say use for under 30lb!!

My son is around 40lbs and this does not keep his head above water as it should. The material inside the float is barely there not making the float strong enough to hold up the weight.
