I'm an iPhone minimalist...I don't use a case on my phone, preferring to keep it as slim and lightweight as possible. This makes a high-quality screen protector a must (and an Apple Care subscription!). The Tocol iPhone Screen Protector kit is the best, most complete screen protector kit I've come across. First, the kit is incredibly well done and comes with everything you need: screen protector, mounting frame, cleaning/screen prep kit and a microfiber squeegee. You get everything you need for 2 protector applications. The real star of the kit (aside from the screen protectors themselves) is the mounting frame. The frame is very well made of sturdy plastic, so your phone fits precisely and the screen protector is perfectly aligned every time. Once you are ready to apply, you simply pull on the tab at the bottom of the frame and the protective film covering the screen protector is removed and the protector begins "fusing" itself to the phone screen...you can watch it happen. Done correctly, you'll get no air bubbles or misaligned edges. It's quite foolproof. Second, the quality of the screen protector is top shelf. At first, I thought that it might be just a tad too thick, but I quickly came to appreciate this added "robustness" as it clearly proved to be amazingly resistant to abuse...drops, scrapes, dirt and dust...nothing seemed to mar its perfectly smooth finish. The edges of the protector are smoothly beveled, so you don't feel anything sharp when using or holding your phone. Also, the optical clarity of the glass used is wonderful...text, graphics and images are sharp and clear with colors coming through vividly and accurately. Edited - the company sent me another package and I ended up trying again on a different device of the same model, and it worked more like it should. Only small bubbles probably caused by some missed dust. The protector doesn't interfere with my case, but covers almost all of the exposed screen - even the cut out for the speaker is very minimal and the front camera is covered. Can't speak to durability, but it looks nice and feels fine so I'm adjusting my review. Maybe I got a dud or maybe there was something weird with the screen of that original phone. When the installation goes as it should, it's all very easy and works great! Definitely doesn't work as advertised. I double-checked the instructions, and went through both screen protectors in the package trying to make it work. For whatever reason, the air never escaped out from under the protector, no matter how long I waited, and it didn't work without that happening. I tried with both of them to peel up the corners and push it down manually, but the edges refused to stick all the way no matter how hard I pushed (even with my finger, it would pop back up and the air would come back in). Alignment piece worked great, but the install worked terribly. Both protectors went straight into the trash so can't speak about quality. ... show more
