Willie is also joined by familiar contemporaries including Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, Miranda Lambert, Norah Jones, Loretta Lynn and Rosanne Cash. To All The Girls... reunites Willie with producer Buddy Cannon, who worked with Willie on his most recent successful releases, Heroes and Let's Face The Music and Dance.

Willie sings with all the great Country Music Females, I suspect he wrote many of the songs. Some were made famous by others. But, after you listen to this CD about 3 times you will be hooked. He puncuates their beautiful voices with his own graceful rendition as a backup. I thought it was a little flat the first time I listened. But My ear became attuned to the beauty and the melodies that are on this disc. I can't hard listen to local country radio these days because of the lack of old standards. I'm happy with it and its my 3rd Willie CD and my car only holds 6 to play at one time. Allison Krauss, Nora Jones, Loretta Lynn, Cheryl Crow & Dolly Parton come to mind but the others are also greats in country music. ... show more

Mr Willie Nelson is my musical hero, a man of unsurpassed talent, I can't describe what this man's music means to me but so much more than words can ever say....Most versatile and accomplished musician not only in Country Music but in different genres as well....An American Icon...Loved Worldwide.......This Album is absolutely superb, a must have for the Willie Nelson fans, his voice as beautiful, as it has always been, expressing deep emotions, and his love for music! Once again, Willie Nelson has created an album of pure joy. This man is an American treasure. Too bad we'll never hear any of these songs on so-called "country music" radio. At 80, his voice is still strong and clear, and his guitar playing (on "Trigger") is simply amazing. The duet on "Grandma's Hands" with Mavis Staples is riveting. Love the duet with Sheryl Crow on "Far Away Places." Willie is an old crooner at heart, and the duets on the "standards" are lovely. But his song-writing is also still strong and thoughtful and quirky, and all the things that make listening to Willie Nelson such a pure joy. ... show more

    • Willie at 80! Great album with the top country ladies.
Willie's voice at 80 years is still just as good as it's ever been. Nice duet songs with the best of the ladies. Songs with Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Sheryl Crow, Wynonna Judd, Carrie Underwood, Norah Jones, Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, Shelby Lynne, and that's only half of the 18 ladies singing with Willie. I would say that my 5 favorite songs are: 1)"From Here To The Moon And Back" with Dolly Parton 2)"Far Away Places" with Sheryl Crow" 3)"Always On My Mind" with Carrie Underwood 4)"No Mas Amour" with Alison Krauss (I like this song best of all) & 5)"Grandma's Hands" with Mavis Staples. What a wonderful CD. I have it in my car and listen to it often. Especially love The song he does with his sister. Every Willie Nelson fan should get this.

Hi, from France, I got the way to play this CD, thanks of our mediacenter, and I found out for sure, Willie Nelson Voice, such warm, as always, but I felt down from my chair at the minute I found such pretty ladies' voices singing with him ! I did know as Willie could be with many, and many ladies running behind him (Ah !) Only I did not know how such many wonderful ladies' singers could agree to take time for singing with him ! This confirms my feelings about his wonderful talent ! Dear Willie, you could be proud to have been making a frenchman (singer as well !) so jealous ! So that I could not find anyway els to offer this CD to my friend, living in Florida. Thanks again for a such precious gift in my life, thanks to you and Amazon. ... show more

    • Willie Nelson is an American Treasure!
There is so much to love about this album, but most of all there's Willie Nelson. It is hard to believe he is 80 years old--he sounds as good as ever. There are 18 songs on here, and even with that many I didn't want the album to end, so I listen to it over and over. Willie sings familiar songs with my favorite female artists. The only song I had not heard before is "No Mas Amor" written by Keith Gattis and Sammy Barrett, which he sings with Alison Krauss. It has kind of a bosa nova beat,, and it is a beautiful but sad song. "Far Away Places" is a nostalgic song from the late '40s, and Sheryl Crow sings it so well with Willie. This CD is a classic that I will listen to for many years to come. ... show more
