Bought the primer bulb with line and connectors for a Yamaha out board motor. The parts are very very cheap and did not work. The connectors are not 100% correct on the ball valve and the connection to the motor was not solid and kept wiggling loose. The fuel line it’s self is NOT rated for this type of use and the fuel line actually collapsed while the motor is running causing the motor to stall due to the lack of fuel flow. The fuel line is thin and flimsy like a rubber straw and does not have the fiber strands like you would expect from a quality fuel line. I question if this rubber is even rated for use with fuel. The bulb itself was broken I guess because it was pushing fuel in both direction. You could see it fill the filter housing when you squeezed and the suck the fuel out when you release the bulb. This too is thin and cheap feeling, and I doubt it would hold up past one season if you were to manage to get it to work. Return for a refund, if you are looking at this for an outboard boat motor go buy a name brand that will work and last ... show more

I have an old 18 HP that i bought this for, it works great for my motor, however, the primer ball tries to suck itself flat on long runs. It does work but it is very cheap and if you have an engine with a larger fuel demand it may not work for your application.

    • Couplers leak, when hooked up to outboard motor.

I bought two of these, one for my Honda 9.9 h.p. and one for my Johnson 15 h.p.. They both leak when hooked up to the engine coupler. I had to replace the hose couplers on both.
