Description

Welcome to the streets of New York City, where the best pizza and human-mutant chaos reigns. It's up to the Turtle brothers to restore the peace in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed! New mutants (or as the Turtles coined them, Mewbies) have been doing well to be accepted by the citizens. But that all changed when some mutants began wreaking havoc. From the sewer to the skyscrapers, no corner is safe from the mess oozing through the city. It's got TCRI corporation written all over it. Now, it is up to the fearless four to unleash their unique ninja skills and stop the madness before the human-mutant relationship they worked for goes down the drain. Use that adrenaline pumping through your veins to save the city, and enlist the help of April and Splinter. Whether you are a seasoned ninjutsu master or a ninja in training, you can get through this new action-packed brawler game playing solo or in local co-op mode. Set in the Mutant Mayhem universe, it's filled with action, humour, and nostalgia.

  • Horrendous Game
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5
I rarely write reviews on Amazon, but ppl buying this game have to know how bad this is. I played all the TMNT games and this rates 2nd worst right next to the previous one that came out before this one - Wrath of the Mutants. Very sloppy design, mindless repetitive button mashing, no creativity in the character or level design, very mundane experience overall. I’m a huge TMNT fan and in my eyes they’re trying really hard to tarnish the image. Please save your money or get Shredders Revenge instead if you haven’t done so. ... show more

  • Persona x TMNT?
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5
Borrows the day/night calendar and social link structure of the recent mainline Persona series games but more simplified and way more forgiving. Instead of dungeons/palaces you have areas around New York City where you beat enemies via isometric beat-em-up with RPG elements Story/plot. Takes place after the recent TMNT Mutant Mayhem movie. Mutants settled into NYC. There are pharmones going around which making them hostile. Must find the cause Graphics are okay, but the art style is very good. Voice acting and banter between characters is in the same tone as the movie Load times can be annoying as its frequent every time you enter a new area. There are side objectives and social links you can complete before the deadline of the main mission -Gameplay Typical Beat-em-up with our dodge, strong, weak attacks. By keeping up with our combo, you a rank after a group battle (S, A, B, etc). Better you do, the better loot you get Enemies are pretty easy. No difficulty setting. Aside from bosses, the only major enemies you have to look out for is the hippo, walrus snail, and sometimes the moles who burry underground and do a pop up attack. Most are telegraphed, so its all the matter of playing it safe, or risking to end a combo to finish them off. By the end its basically a button masher with all the upgrades You get an assists move you can use based on a special meter. There’s a skill tree, some skills levels need to be unlocked by doing social links. Best to upgrade Donatello assist first as it gives you air crate drops that can heal you Social links are more about friendship and helping out mutant community rather than romancing someone There are also enemy drops which give you buffs. By collecting blue, green, and red ooze container. you get overall boost in assist meter, health and attack respectively Overall, combat can get repetitive, but the social links and upgrade/leveling up is fun ... show more
