My kids had a great time putting this birdhouse together and painting it with the included supplies. The wood pieces are sturdy, and the paint colors are vibrant. It was a fun afternoon project that kept them engaged and let their creativity shine! That said, the instructions were a bit unclear and took some guessing to figure out the correct assembly order. Not a dealbreaker, but just be prepared to help younger kids along. Once built, the finished product looks adorable and feels solid. Overall, a great kit for a family craft day!

The best I can say is that this was a fun puzzle to put together when we were camping. The directions are not clear at all and only come on a very small piece of paper that you have to try to interpret. Definitely do not throw away the box when trying to piece it together. Multiple time something didn't look right and we had refer to the pictures on the box instead of the directions to make sure we were doing in correctly. It does come with everything you need to put it together minus a screwdriver or drill. The build quality feels ok and should function well but some of the roof tiles did start to crack when screwing them into the boards. It also does come with a small amount of paint in several colors but doesn't cover as much of the bird house as expected. I would probably buy this again for an older kid 8-10 years old for a project of trying to build something.

What a great project for the entire family!! I ordered this for our granddaughter who is 6. She loves birds and was so happy with this wooden mansion of a bird -house. We completed this project in about 3 hours, including time for paint (included w/ brush) to dry. It is easy to assemble, however younger children will require adult assistance. The wooden pieces are pre-cut and are also sanded and ready to paint. The wood is an higher quality. Assembly requires a screwdriver (not-included). Holes for the screws are pre-drilled. Directions provided are clear and easy to understand. All hardware is provided including a chain for hanging the birdhouse and bird stickers. This is well worth the price. Birds love it too!

What a cute kit! My girls (5 and 7) put it together (with some help) this afternoon. The instructions are TINY, so watch out for the little card, though most of it is intuitive for someone who is a little spatially aware. The birdhouse is a real birdhouse size, which was a pleasant surprise. There are birdhouse kits that are more expensive and higher quality, and a little cheaper and much worse quality, so I think this and a bird ID book would make a great gift for any bird-crazy kid (like my older daughter). There is enough paint to cover the birdhouse, but we definitely used our own craft paint since she wanted to paint it a particular way.

Got this to build with our daughter and it was really fun easy to do and came with all you need. Instructions were easy and clear. Just be cautious as some of the pieces are very fragile and we had to glue a few pieces back together after breaking them

It’s not weather proof. Warped after a couple days outside and there were no instructions to seal or provide additional weather proofing or any kind. These kits usually are made of treated wood for outdoor use.
