It Fits
The battery fits my Nest thermostat properly. It took some time for me to watch videos online to figure out the best way to disassemble the thermostat, and then install the new battery. The installation took about 10 minutes after I was educated and ready. It appears to take a full charge, and the low battery message I had been receiving is now gone.

nothing extra special about this, except the fact that it comes with repair tools…which was nice and made the battery replacement super convenient. It DOES fit a Nest Learning 3rd Generation Thermostat.
