I did not expect to like these shorts so much. Usually shorts for plus sizes are really boring or ugly or both. These are actually cute and fit according to the size that they claimed they were! What an idea! The are wide legged and do have a tie knot (that I ended up pulling out since it was getting in the way from hanging down so much.) The print is cute and I liked how they were lined. I have not worn them on walking excursions yet so I don't know if they will ride up or not but, at least around the house, they have been awesome. Although the price is more than I usually spend on shorts, these seem worth the cost since I *might* actually wear these in public. These are really cute and I love the flow they have. The inner lining is weird though, it should fit kind of like bike shorts but instead it’s loose and baggy. With the right movement you can see up pretty high. They’re really comfortable and airy though. They’d be great to throw on over a bathing suit or for wearing around the house. I wouldn’t wear these out because the liner doesn’t offer discretion and it would almost be like wearing a short skirt without bike shorts. I hope this is helpful! ... show more

I love how cute and flowy these shorts are. I don’t like wearing short skirts so this is a good substitute. My favorite part is the pockets… us girls love pockets lol. The material is a sheer overlay with cute dainty flowers and the underneath is almost like an athletic material. It’s not hot, it’s breathable. I can’t wait to pair these shorts with a cute top and sandals or wedges for the summer. I ordered an XL but probably would have been good with a L. I usually try to steer clear of clothing like this because I have an apron belly from 3 csections but these shorts hide it well so I’m happy about that. These shorts fit nicely with a flowy feel and a built-in layer underneath. Due to the thin, flowy fabric, I’d suggest wearing dark underwear. I like the high-waisted, stretchy waistband with a drawstring, which makes them very adjustable—I can wear them as a women’s size 12/14, and my daughter, who wears a medium or size 8, can wear them too.
