    • This is the best glue for engineered hardwood floating install. Period. this is the best!

At first, I only ordered two bottles in order to try and see how it works in comparison to other glues you can get locally. So, this glue is more expensive than any local flooring store sells, but this specific Titebond glue is totally worth the money! My advise is: do not make my mistake. Buy this glue and you will have easier time installing the floor. I have to interrupt my install and wait for a dozen bottles of this awesome glue. This is a specially formulated PVA glue that is liquid enough to spread all around tongue and grooves fast while setting within minutes. With regular imitator glues, you will have issues. Regular cheap glues are either 1) too thick (this makes tapping a plank a nightmare and you will break a bunch of tapping blocks) or 2) too runny (it will be a mess and have to wait for hours for planks to set before you can continue on adding on more rows). Great glue, easy to apply and doesn't run away. Used to install 1200 sqf of 7.5 inch wide engineered hardwood (tongue & groove). Initially bought 7 bottles and used 6.5 of them. Highly recommended. Price should be lower for that glue. Not sure if supply problems is causing recent price hike..

Easy to use. Seems to be holding well with the 900 ft2 of flooring I installed. Can't ask for anything more from a glue. Several have noted they didn't need as much as advertised. I did. I actually had to order more as my initial order was too conservative, based on some of the reviews I had read. But the fact I ordered more ought to be the best testimony of my satisfaction. I like the tip size ... works great for the grove on my engineered hardwood. And when I got near the bottom of a bottle, I just poured the remaining glue it into another bottle, to make sure I could use it all. Worked great. And very little waste. ... show more
