I've had one of these before but it was one with a set depth of the needles and found it to be a tad too long. It's hard when you're starting out to know what depth you need which is why THIS one feels so genius. You can completely adjust how deep the needles go which is awesome and super versatile. I use a shallow depth for my face to help combat wrinkles, but then I make the needles more deep for my scalp because it's hard for the needles to get past all my hair sometimes. It's easy to clean by washing with some alcohol and easy to store just by popping the cap on. This cost half as much as my old one and is twice as good. Massive thumbs up from me a solid 10/10 product!!!

Admittedly it took me a little while to build up the courage to try this. I’ve been hearing about microneedling from friends for the last few years and they swear by it. Unfortunately it’s not a luxury I can afford to have done so when I saw this inexpensive at home alternative I jumped at the chance. I wanted to do a bunch of reading and research beforehand so I didn’t cause myself any harm. The item itself doesn’t come with particularly detailed instructions. It would be helpful if it did. I would encourage anyone trying this to research before using so that you’re preparing your face and the needles correctly to avoid irritation or any potential infection. I like that these needles are adjustable. You can start off with a very minimal depth til you work up confidence or use different depths for different areas of the face. I’ve read this “stamp” method is preferred over the roller method since it doesn’t pull or potentially tear at the skin. So that’s good! The needles didn’t hurt at all to my surprise or cause much of any irritation afterwards. I am still using the smallest depth until I get used to the procedure and feel I know what I’m doing and know how my skin reacts. The one thing that does leave me a little concerned is that the needles retract into the stamp and I don’t know if it’s truly getting sterilized correctly. It’s not something you can take apart and I wonder if dirt and bacteria is getting through the needle holes and I don’t know if the alcohol I’m using to disinfect is getting down in there. I suppose if you disinfect well with the needles in the upright position and use it immediately you don’t have to worry? I’m not entirely confident though. I have looked into other stamps, researching different brands sold online and found many have this same design so I think I’m just being a bit paranoid. I’ve used it a few times now with no ill effects and no real discomfort and will be increasing the depth as I go. I don’t know if this will wind up being as effective as salon treatments but for me it’s either this at home treatment or no treatment at all! This is an inexpensive tool that wouldn’t break the bank to purchase again when it needs replacing.

I’ve been using this dermastamp tool on my scalp, and I’m really impressed with how well it works. The needles are sharp, and the twist dial gives excellent control over the depth, making it easy to adjust as needed. The uniformity of the needles ensures consistent punctures, which is great for getting even results. Just be careful, as it can cause some bleeding if you press too hard. The ergonomic handle is comfortable to hold, and the glossy texture adds a nice touch. One thing to note is that the base has a slight curve, so I’ve found that if you’re not careful, the tool can roll, which might affect the angle and potentially cause skin damage. Overall, it’s a solid tool, especially for beginners like me, and I’m seeing good results.

After reading about the science behind microneedling, I was really excited to give this tool a try! I'm 35 now and have had lines on my forehead since I was a teenager. I also have some discoloration on my forehead and redness in my face. I'd rather not go the artificial route to get rid of my wrinkles and blemishes, but it would be nice to have youthful, smooth skin on my face. I've only had this product for a few weeks and you aren't recommended to use it too often so it will be some time before I can say for certain if it works for my skin, but I can tell you it performs as expected. I like that I can adjust the depth the microneedles penetrate my skin so that my first use wasn't too overwhelming or scary. In fact, on the shallower settings, it's hard to even feel! I understand that you want longer needle length for deeper wrinkles, but I did find that I started feeling a bit more of an unpleasant prickle in certain areas and noticed some tiny pinprick wounds at the medium-long needle depth. I've included a photo of my face so you can see the lightly flushed look it causes when it is working properly. This fades quickly and doesn't really hurt. Near my nose was probably the most painful area and did make my eyes water a bit. Still, it's a small price to pay for lasting results. I will revise my review if I notice a difference (either positively or negatively) after extended use. For now, I'm very hopeful that this product will help my skin. I really like the adjustable needle depth, easy of sanitizing (with rubbing alcohol), and how simple it is to use. The size and shape are easy for me to handle. The only thing I don't love is - of course - the slight pain it causes and the fact that this product is listed as a "roller" when the instructions indicate it should just be stamped directly up and down. I think that a true roller might be even easier to use.

I'm not sure this can be adequately disinfected. It's confortable, stylish, and i do like being able to change needle depth. However, I can't see under the silicone where they are stored. For this reason I'm giving three stars.
