We gave this to our 4 year old for her birthday and she loves it. Her 7 year old brother loves playing with it, too (but largely because there is a “pulley” chandelier). It was easy to assemble though I had the best luck using a power drill on the lowest setting. The furniture is ADORABLE. Overall, I’m a little jealous and will not mind “cleaning up” the pieces. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something made of wood, sturdy, easy to put together, and beloved.

This play house is SO CUTE!! It’s very study once put together and all the furniture pieces that come with are a lot of fun! Before I finished building it, my four year old grand girl was inching over to get her doll into the front door. I told her, but we haven’t even furnished it yet! lol I was able to involve her in the building of it and she was glued to it for a long time. Success! It’s very light weight and easy to move about. Pay attention to the building steps. I moved forward too quickly and had to undo a couple in order to build it right, but that was my fault for not paying attention. All material was there, all you need is an impact with a Phillips head bit and a Phillips screw driver for the final tightness. (My preferred method for not over tightening.)

Read this review, I'll answer your questions. Bought this for my 4 year old. She LOVES it. It is the same height as my 2.5 year old. It was EASY to put together, the quality of the wood is solid. Use a drill, not a screwdriver. To the folks saying its not easy..... uh, this thing is VERY easy. Go put together one of those Adirondack chairs and get back to me, lol. This thing is a cake walk. 30 mins or less, leisurely, while sipping a beer. Number of four letter words slipped out during assembly= 0. The reviewers who don't like the size are crazy. Perfect size for 2-6 year olds. How tall are these people's kids? If you want a playhouse for your kids to jump around inside of, then go buy a swingset from home depot or something. This is a dollhouse. Its dollhouse sized, lol. Comes with all the furniture, we bought a set of dollhouse people separately, the scale is perfect for the figures we got. Everything is great quality, wood, no cheap Chinese plastic. Got girls? Just buy it. Be a dad hero. You're welcome.

Just completed construction on this doll house. It took over two hours between inventory and construction. The directions were better than what I usually see with toys or anything else for that matter. One of the pieces holding up the lights cracking during construction, so I’ll need to try to replace that. Furniture was cute, but the kitchen was essentially three blocks with paint on them. Overall, I think it’s a nice dollhouse for toddlers, but furniture may be a bit boring for older kids.
